Right now I have a bundle package with my provider. TV/Internet/Lan Line. I pay 165$/month. This is getting expensive. I even on a promotion. I have DVR, HBO and HD. Its really nice having all the luxuries but I don't know if its worth the price anymore. Just wondering what all you are paying out there.

I'm pretty sure it's around $400+, everyone has Iphones and the 2 women have to have maximum minutes and texting cause they gab all day and night.....We have digital cable (3 boxes, 1 is DVR) with the package that gives me HBO, FLiX, IFC and Ovation so the cable bill is high....

I have comcast(i guess its called COX in other markets). I pay for television and internet only. Ill throw the price of cell phone into the mix too since i dont have a home phone.

Internet and basic television package is 34.00 / mth(on a one year no strings attached agreement). I can upgrade, downgrade, cancel and not me charged anything. This comes with all the channels i need(i dont do the HBO stuff) and a measly 6Meg line. I had the 16Meg line until i too was running low on funds and cut my internet only for 69.00/mth in half for a slower line with television. Once i get more money, back to the 16meg line.

Cell phones are 74.99+/- per month. This includes three cell phones without any texting, internet, etc. and a measly 550minutes per month. We have never gone over on our bill(att to att in network saves us).

Yeah but you don't have mortgage to worry about.

about 100 for the net and cable...no HD package or premium channels like HBO.

Cox in AZ here

Cox and Comcast are different companies. In CT we have both. We have comcast and pay about what Doublebase pays (we have HD on 1 box with DVR and 1 extra box). And of course that includes the NFL network for IAB and HBO because CURB is coming back in Sept for me!

What you want, if you can get it, is AT&T Uverse or Verizon FIOS! The quality is supposed to be outstanding for less money than the cable company.

They finally included NFL network in the package here in PA. You used to have to pay extra for that.

About 150$ For Internet, Phone, and Cable with HD.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
It was up at 190$ but we haggled the provider.

I called comcast's competitor, verizon and they are quoted me at about the same price. I think I'm stuck with it. I can't get rid of HBO. True Blood is to good.

I pay $75 for TV and internet, only use my cell for my phone which is another $70. Thinking I am going to dump cable altogether and just get internet. Between torrents and hulu I can pretty much watch whatever I want whenever I want.

I have satellite with all channels including sports packages that I pay $50 per month. It's a little deal I worked out with a friend. Two BB cells (which are my only lines) that I pay $159 a month for. A bit steep but I need the BB data plan for business. DSL is $29 and slow as balls.

Any of you know if I can get cable internet without paying for TV as well?

That's the same deal I have right now. I switched when my 1yr promotional price with Mediacom cable internet expired and the price jumped up to $60/mo. Still not sure if I made the right decision, since I used to download a lot of media and sometimes the slow speeds on DSL are unbearable. I used to download torrents at 950kb/s with cable, now it's more like 140kb/s with DSL, and I can't do anything else on the internet when I'm downloading now.

I'm not currently subscribed to cable or a lan line.

Yea I hear. This is really killing my pornhub viewing. :(

I'm up to about $144

I have home internet thru COX,
$46..

And every thing else $99.99 thru wireless..

Theres about $10 extra in taxes
both ways, but WTF?

I have Blackberry and two types of internet.

What reallly matters, and I don't want to turn this thread into this thing...
But I have semi-automatic weapons and a large stash of common ammo.

So it's best you be my friend.
:D

I have been doing this for almost a decade. TV is a waste of money when you can stream or download what you wants.

For a while I wasn't paying for TV, but I've gone back to it simply because of a deal comcast had... With AT&T available, Comcast offered some pretty sweet deals.

I was paying 10.99 for netflix (mainly for the instant streaming). and had a basic cable package for 14/month hooked up to a Media Center PC, so I had free DVR functionality. It worked well & was cheap, but missed HD (True Blood, Dexter, Fox News). After I switched, I'm only paying about 25 bucks more/month.. easily worth it for me. I have one DVR hooked up to three tvs, without having to switch cables.

Comcast offered me one year: HD-DVR+Preferred Package+HBO for 45 bucks/month. I added showtime for 18/month (rip, but I'll only have it while dexter is on).

My internet bill from comcast is 42.95/m, but I'm reimbursed from work since I work from home fairly often.

My Iphone bill is around 95/month, and I don't have a land line.

All together, I'm paying about 160+tax for everything.

I've thought about doing this but I'm a sports junkie. I have the NFL, NBA, and MLB packages that I can't do without.
