I have been hearing good things about MuscleMilk. I need to buy some more supplements this weekend, and being that I am a "hard gainer X 10" I need something worthwhile. I need 300 grams of protein a day, so taste and function is very important.

Thanks for any info.!!!

muscle milk is a quality supplement but it is only protein powder with some MCT's. supplement and nutrient timing is 100x more important than what brand of supplement you are using

I love it, I just bought 24 of the ready to drink shakes 3 hours ago. :thumb:

I just bought a can of MuscleMilk yesterday...

(They didn't have my HDT PROBLEND)

It was cheaper... Tastes not as good (vanilla)...

We'll see how it uptakes :D

Whats with the fat that they say will only help you. I'm pretty sure its not omega 3's or 6 so whats the deal.

the body uses medium chained triglycerides almost like sugars excpet there is no increase in serum glucose or insulin levels.

I've been using Muscle Milk for months. I love the stuff! Try the Cookies and Cream. :lick:

Has anyone ever used the Muscle Milk and Oats? If so what do you think?

medium chained triglyceride. it's a short chained fatty acid (6-12 carbon atoms) that is more readily used for energy than other longer chained fatty acids. the body treats it more like a carbohydrate but there is no related increase in serum glucose or insulin. so it basiclly provides the higher calorie of a fat but the energy of a carbohydrate.
