Just wondering what happens if you accidently inject into a vein, and how long does it take too know you have an abscess? My ass hurts like hell, the pain is slowly going away, but its swollen and I did inject a little fast...

Usually, putting oils into a "vein" is almost impossible - or very hard. If you did manage to do so, you would feel it immediately, not the next morning.

Most likely it's just post-shot swelling.

I went through a vein once doing a deca shot so when I aspirated I got no blood and when I pulled out I think some of the oil got into the vein because I got a head rush and this horrible taste in my mouth....it made my heart race for a couple minutes. It was a little on the scary side. I don't think enough could have got into the vein to cause a problem as I am still here today, but injecting oil directly into a vein could cause an embolism that could kill you.

In addition an abcess is going to cause the injection area to become red, swollen, painful, and hot to the touch. Those are the signs of an infection. Keep in mind the sore feeling you get after the injection is normal and probably not an abcess...the soreness should go away in a few days unless its high mg/ml gear then you could probably be sore for a week. :hot:

You have to have a good amount in your bloodstream to cause an embolism...

I have never been able to locate online how much oil or approx how much it takes injected in a vein before it puts you at risk of an embolism...another thing I would like to know is how long the oil is in your blood before its filtered out. If you have those answers or ever come across them I would love to know.

Well I guess that makes me feel a little bit better...
