The QUICKEST way to lose fat WITHOUT exercise is to STOP counting calories. Before you click away and think that this is just click-bait, read why I came to this conclusion and lost 22 pounds!
I have to admit, I?ve written many answers to question about fat loss and I usually start off with something like, ?you have to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight.? While this statement is true I want to show you an alternative way to lose fat faster WITHOUT the drudgery of counting calories.
I want to talk about The Ketogenic Diet.
So what?s the ketogenic diet?
The keto diet is designed to make your body use ketones and the fat on your body as a fuel source rather than glucose from carbohydrates.
Our bodies prefer to run on glucose (from sugars/carbohydrates) but what happens to the body when it doesn?t have any glucose?
Well your body begins to produce these ketones (as mentioned above) as an energy source and your body will use your stored fat as well. That?s all fat is, stored energy.
Imagine being able to use your own body fat for energy rather than eating a carbs?
That?s what the Ketogenic diet does.
Typically the keto diet looks something like this:
As you can see the majority of your calories will come form fat. Fats such as MCT oil, grass fed butter, mixed nuts, nut butters, avocado, pepperoni, fatty meats and fish.

While the keto diet works very well there is something even more powerful when you combine cyclical keto.
Cyclical Keto
Cyclical keto is where you?ll be on the keto diet all week but cheat once towards the end of the week by having anything you want. I?m talking about your favorite carbohydrates for a 4 hour period.
After your cheat day you?ll return back on the keto diet for another week and repeat again with another cheat day. You?ll repeat this every week, 6 days keto 1 day cheat.
I lost 22 pounds this way and my cheat days were epic. I?m talking about eating cereal, donuts, cheese cake, pizza, etc.
Conclusion
While the keto and cyclical keto work very well for fat loss, you may not be able to get over the idea of not eating carbs all week. If that?s you and you still want to eat your favorite carbs everyday for fat loss.

- 20% protein
- 75% fats
