Interestinsg stuff... As for the jaw, I had heard that once before. I know a person or two has sought out to test their grip strength with their teeth, by picking up a rope with weights, something over 300 pounds I think, pulling busses and so on.bandaidwoman said:According to many anatomy professors, the strongest muscle in the body is a toss up between the masseter muscle (voluntary skeletal) in the jaw and the female uterus during labor. The latter is an involuntary muscle.
same here...awhile back there was a guy on a tv show (cannot remember what it was) he was a restaurant owner/chef and he would take tables with a girl sitting on top and hold them in his teeth. On the show they wanted to find out from a scientific standpoint how it was possible that he could do this. One issue was jaw strength, the other was his teeth. The experts thought that even if he possesed the incredible jaw strength to hold that much weight his teeth would break. They basically created a robot head to emulate the whole thing....Mudge said:Interestinsg stuff... As for the jaw, I had heard that once before.
