Unfortunately, I have lost most of my faith in the common decency of the American politician. I do not necessarily believe that Kerry would have done much better. I almost feel like he would have made just as many fuck-ups, only his fuck-ups would have been different than Bush's fuck-ups.
All I was saying was that I do not see how Bush being a hypocrite has anything to do with this thread. KBM is taking any opportunity to bash the conservatives, the same as I see conservatives take any chance they can to bash liberals. And that is fine, because that is what conservatives and liberals do. But, for one of them to take the moral high ground, and act like they are the only enlightened ones shows how rotten the core is of both sides.
They're all just trying to escape Tough Old Gringo. Just the other day I saw one on the news, he was speaking frantically in Spanish, but his hand signs told a story of a crazed bare chested white man with a handlebar mustache reeking of booze running down the street chasing a toy helicopter knocking over little boys selling chiclets and oranges on the sidewalks.
