What do you do when your red blood cells are to high to get TRT? And you don?t know the cause of the high reds. I am confused, i did a sleep test 2 weeks ago and i have mild sleep apnea, not high enough to cause the increase in red blood cells. Doc wont prescribe any meds for low test, which i can understand. I have done a lot of blood tests, most recent was Jak 2 gene and EPO.

my BP is fine, test is at 7.3 (range here is 8.0-12) slightly lower kidney function, but told i have no fluctuations across years of blood tests. I would prefer to go and donate the excess. I have been on a cycle for a long time and last i took any kind of supplement was Nov last year, i was on Epistane, 20mg a day to cruise, this was enough to really notice the lethargy. Exercise does not help nor does regular lifting, i have tried smashing it and it smash?s you right back with non existent recovery or growth. Makes me the impossible gainer LOL

I would think it's too high because you were on a cycle for a long time....just as you were thinking, you should be able to donate and then get on TRT if you want.

Agree with 1693...Along with blood work in a few months to see if RBC count has come down and maybe see an blood doc...

Can red blood cell count be controlled by anything. Would a aspirin regiment and donating blood assist?

The blood donation really helps. Aspirin retards the development of platelets. That is why it is seen as a "blood thinner". It should have no impact on red cell development. One of the fastest ways to drop red cell over development is stop smoking, cigarettes and pot.

i have never been on long cycles, longest was 6 weeks about 2 years ago

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
You smoke cigarets or pot?

no never, my last endo doc before this one, prescribed me with Proviron 1000, i had this 4ml shot twice in about 12 weeks, dont think it helped, this was last 3 months of 2012, i remember feeling like shit not long after the shots, when i have done the odd cycle here and there i can remember feeling good. So not sure, i have mild sleep apnea, to mild to justify spending 260 bucks, to be told not to sleep on my back, my mild apnea would probably not qualify for a breathing machine. This condition affects every fucking thing you do. Been feeling like shit now for a fucking long time.

So my endo wants me to see the sleep specialist and at least rule it out as the reason my red blood cells are high. Next Wednesday i go, more money.

Ur lethargy is in your head. When you don't train for a long time then u start again of course your going to be sore for a pretty long time but u keep giving up. Keep at it up your protein and work through it

i appreciate your reply, i have had this for over 4 years, a lot of the time the doc?s thought it was my kidneys. The soreness i get is not DOMS, i love DOMS, i can do that everyday of the week, the soreness i get is more strain type of pain, even just going for a long walk, doc wont let me give blood yet, its a bit like taking pain killers of for a brain tumour giving you headaches, it wont work. This week i have slept on average an extra 3 hours a day and have done sweet fuck all, i feel like i am doing 12 hours shifts when i am doing not much at all. Its not as easy as you think. Training is counter productive.

Do you have sleep apnea? Your wife will know

its NOT a BLOOD THINNER. this is a misunderstanding. the it makes blood less "sticky", not thinner.. trust me, I have looked into it..

eating less meat/iron may help, and eat more fresh veggies..

i can be on cycle for 6mo and still have good blood, but i dont eat meat at all (not the norm i know)
eatign alot of meat to try and gain muscle + the aas may be making it worse.

have you had the following checked?:
vitD levels
VitB12 levels
thyroid function

??
if not check those out asap...

Lyme disease is a possibility. Had any tick bites lately?

Try home blood letting, its real easy. Get in a warm bath and slit your wrists, once you feel light headed scream for help

You are right. I did not make that clear in my post. Like I said it acts on the platelets making the blood as you say, less sticky.

its only mild, not enough to raise the red blood cells like they are, i did the sleep study in Brisbane almost 3 weeks ago. I have the results.

these were amongst the first tests i had done, my last blood tests have been more specific Jak 2 gene test and an EPO test. Thyroid function was perfect, B & D were fine, iron was up slightly as was cholesterol. I have had probably 8 blood tests this year.

Gents, please ... This isn't AG :coffee:

It would be nice if my thread was not SPAMMED up.
