start tracking what your current caloric and macronutrient intake is. Then plan sensibly from there. No 'magic diet' needed.

Thanks p funk, how many calories a day you think is sufficient with my weight?

Track what you are currently eating. With that figure in mind, you'll have an idea of amount of calories that'll have you gaining weight.

Subtract about 500 and re-evaluate.

Keep with that methodology and eventually you'll find what your recommended deficit intake.

If you'd like an estimate or a more detailed description of creating a diet, check out the diet portion of the "Getting Started" link in my signature.

thanks M11, i am going to try to figure this out. theres more to dieting than i thought

Hello,

Have you been searching for what seems like FOREVER for the best accelerated weight loss diet... that is 100% NATURAL and will give you PERMANENT results? Okay, take a few minutes out of your day to read on and see what's the best type of diet to get that perfect body quickly and naturally!
You see, losing weight fast is fine... as long as you do it naturally. Unnaturally trying to drop those stubborn pounds as fast as possible is going to cause a mountain of problems.

Now, when you're looking for a diet to lose weight fast, here is what I recommend you look for:
1.) Is the diet based around getting 100% proper nutrition? - This means NO severe calorie reducing, NO restrictions of nutrients, and NO starvation!
2.) Is the diet based around increasing your metabolism with natural methods? - The faster you get your metabolism with natural methods, the faster you'll lose weight and burn fat. Not to mention, you'll also keep it off permanently.
3.) Is the program based around eating right FOR GOOD and not just for the duration of the diet? - You never want to jump into a diet with the mindset of just dieting to reach a particular goal.

Thanks.
