If you were like Tom Hanks in the movie, "Castaway" minus the stupid soccerball that he gave a face and name to and also, shortening the duration a little.

What would be the first thing you would do when you come back to the normal world of living?

you didn't like wilson!? he was the best part of the movie! lol

it'd be pretty fun to go back living that way.. i'd go back and bring a radio or somethin incase i get sick or injured

Practically starving in every way (sex, food and real sleep) is not my choice and I have a hard time choosing which 3. I'd go for the food probably!

Everything else will come later! There, my vote is in!

I'd go to the gym and demand a refund to cover the lost time. Then I'd go and workout and watch the hot chicks.

Imagine if you had say like a Citibank Credit card that you owed 10K on and you were gone for 5 years... thinking your dead, the co- holder didn't pay a dime in the last 5 years! Then they say, you owe $20K now!

I'm wondering, if you had life insurance that your wife/family claimed on while you were gone, do you think it would have to be paid back when they found out you weren't dead? lol

I'm not sure how it works in the States, but in Canada, you have to be missing for 7 years before you are declared legally dead without proof. So if the insurance company has reason to believe you are alive, or don't have any evidence otherwise, they don't have to pay Nut n' Honey.

Sounds good but on the other hand, if the state declares you legally dead and it's printed in the obituary then, (take the situation with the movie, "Pearl Harbor" and the Pilot, McCauley played by Ben Affleck) I would think the Life Insurance company would have to pay it. Could be different state to state or possibly the same way in all of the US in the sense of waiting 7 years. That would suck! Didn't they just recently find a guy from 9-11 alive in a hospital (been there for a year almost???) when he was declared, legally dead? I wonder if that family was paid out yet?
