Everyone has their fav. bp they love to pump up in the gym. :lifter:

Some lucky people, like myself, love training all parts. I love the feeling of any of my muscles getting a pump so hard it feels like your muscle is going to rip off the bone.:flex:

Personally, i really couldn't tell you what mine is. I love the feeling of my whole arms pumped at once, yet i love the masochism of killing myself on leg day. I love back day, cuz along with my entire back, the shoulders and bi's also blow up. And how could i forget chest, blown up pecs are phenomenal. Calves may be fav. though, they are my best bodypart, and i love training them as well. Forearms get great pumps, you feel like popeye, and when doing abs, who doesnt like when your stomach is as tight as a virgin's honeybutter.

As you can see, i can't possible decide for myself. So whats your favorite bodypart to work, or what do you think is your best bodybart that you're proud of your achievements.....

so nice comparisons hehe
maybe the exercise in which we can lift most will be our favourite.

i like training all parts of my body that get great pump and i even like those bodyparts in which i can use monstrous weights.

Arms.

Hell ya Gr, like i expected, i think we're the only 2 that enjoy killing ourselves on leg day. its the day where i can best judge my workout. my legs are growing like wildfire, and i think i can attribute that to pushing myself so hard.
if i feel like i am going to die, then its a good workout.

got to be legs...fo sho..especially the squats:thumb:

legs........squats and women.....thats all that matters in life

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
"loaves of bread PECS"??

LOL, i hope no one ever compares my pecs to loaves of bread... :/

hmm... whats the name of this thread again?

Entire upper body........as a favorite.......second would be lower.

ha good one babsie, that's a good way to generalize it.....

Gr-nice pic of Platz, i have some good ones i ripped out of books. The guy is so hardcore he looks like he's going to explode when he does legs!

so far guns and pecs win....:hehe:

Back day is my favorite, no question.

Definitly upper body. I love it when I just get finished with all the upperbody stuff and I'm just raging with pump. That's the best part.

I love the feel of a nice trap burn. Outside of that definately arms would be my favorite. But chest isn't to bad either, hmmmmmm. :)
Maybe I should just say upper body. Yeah! that's it.

Anything but calves and abs. For some reason, I once decided to give my calves the workout of their lives when I was in high school. I had to walk on my toes the whole day in school the next day. Not easy to hide!

Ab workouts are long and painful. It's always been a decision for me how many sit up reps to do. If I remember correctly, there was a long, slow burn rather than a sudden "this is my last one." I think it's bad for your back if you use too much weight, so the reps are greater.

If I were working out today, I'd be afraid of blowing out my biceps, so that would no longer be my favorite. I'd be afraid of not being able to walk right if I worked out my legs too hard or damaging my knees in the long run. I'd be afraid of anything that could give me a hernia or hurt my spine. I guess I've turned into a pussy. I think I wouldn't be too scared of chest and delt workouts with dumbells or a machine.

I'm even afraid of arm wrestling since I've heard of guys breaking their arms!

I'd still kick your butts in a race though... but no obstical course. Bad for the knees.

Not to sound sarcastic, but if your not working out what led you to the Iron Magazine forum? To help overcome all your fears? :D

A bit of a long story. I was wondering what the heaviest dumbell was about a month ago, so I searched Google. I found a message board with people talking about the heaviest dumbells at their gym being 200 lbs, and even a bit heavier, and someone said that a 300 lb dumbell would be too awkward. a few weeks later, I came across a video of a guy pressing a 300 pound dumbell twice, and I wanted to post the link to that same board, but I came across this one first so I posted it here as my first post.

I'm still kind of interested in weightlifting, and I might get back to it eventually.

I don't know about everyone else but I kind of like being sour. I'm not saying I get off on pain or anything like that. I just like that litttle burn that stays in your muscles for a day or two. But I get what ya mean. The first time I got my quads sour it was hell, but now that my legs are use to getting sour once in a while its not all that bad.

Wow! 300 pounder , that's a biggie for a dumbell. That is a very good question though. I wonder if 300 is the maximum size. I've seen some pretty beefed steroid guys in the muscle magazines that where posing with some pretty big dumbells..

As for working out Pressalot, you shouldn't be affraid. It is a wonderful feeling after a good workout. And it is inspiring and motivating to watch your own body conform into the changes.
The most important thing is when your first starting out, just lift very light weights and minimum sets and reps. Then after each day just increase the reps, sets, and weight until your at a stage that conforms to you. Just ask the guys here, they're a great group of people who will be happy to help get you started again.

Yeah, I know about how my body reacts to workouts and how to pace myself. I can't even do 10 pushups now without being a little sore the next day. I figure with two days rest between upper body workouts, it would take me about two weeks to get into a normal routine. Any faster and I'd probably cripple myself. I think I have good genetics, and I would probably look like a bodybuilder (not pro) within a couple of months if I worked out for 20 minutes a day. Seems like a waste for me not to.

Here's the link to the Paul Anderson page, where you could see him lifting the 300 pound dumbell and other clips. That big guy was actually able to jump flatfooted onto a 3 foot high table!

Oh, and the 300lb dumbell looks like it was cut-off bar bell. They probably don't make solid ones that heavy.

I feel seperation or damage of tissue would be far more common.
