umm its hard on your fuel pump to let the tank get below half full.... or half empty, depending on how you see things.
i heard one need's to rotate the air in the tires every week, also be sure to keep that blinker fluid level 2X's past the full level or it makes the turn indicator hard to switch positions.

OK

I???ve have put this theory to the test for about 2 months now, and it seems to get me better gas mileage (not a hell of a lot better, but better). I have a Chevy Blazer with a 16 gallon tank. When I filled it up and let it get just about empty, I was averaging about 256 miles (about 16 miles to the gallon which sucked!!!). When I filled it up at half tank, I averaged about 264 miles every 2 trips to the gas station. Here again, that really is not a whole hell of a big difference. So, in addition to doing that I took my aunt???s advice, which is to not drive a mile over 55. That gets me about 275 miles every 2 trips to the gas station (about 17.2 miles to the gallon). You may ask if it is worth the inconvenience of going to the gas station twice a week and driving like a snail?

Damn right it???s worth it. Every little bit helps. :pissed:

I fill up when my gas gauge hits 3/4 full.

Paying 20.00 a pop feels better than paying 60-80.00 a pop :)

I let it get to around 1/8th of a tank, I think of it like a glass of beer would I want the bartender adding nice cool beer to a half glass of older warm beer? Hell no. I know my car doesn't want new gas mixed with it's older gas that's just rude.

I fill my tank about every 5 days for .75 cents U.S.

People that drive $20-30,000 cars that complain about the price of "expensive" gas are twats who had to borrow money to have a car they can't afford.
