Like I said, people lose their manners inside of a care. I can't rip on DOMS too much because at least 75% of everyone on the road share his attitude. What can you do really?

I read it. I don't understand how you seeing me approach changes anything. You check your rear-view and I'm behind you. The next logical thought should be to make arrangements to safely move over so I can pass, not fuck with me.

I just usually move over when possible in heavy traffic. If I can't get over, I just turn the parking brake lights off and on, it looks like you are hitting the brakes when you aren't.

One time when I used to live in New Jersey, I had a bus full of gamblers going to the casino tailgating me, and couldn't get over due to traffic at that particular moment, so the driver kept accelerating like he was going to hit me, I knew he wasn't going to, so I just slowed down to 10 miles an hour, even when he got over, all through the tolls also. Of course I was young then, don't do stuff like that now.

That is one of the great things about the UK. They respect that you should stay in a specific lane for driving, and only use the passing lane to pass.

Here in North America, everyone thinks they own the road, and have no respect.

I don't get this whole concept of making someone you don't know whatsoever "pay." As BC said, one day you may try to make some crazy asshole pay and he will be in the same mindset, out to make you pay. Might not end well.

It really depends on my mood.

Bingo. Since I'm from where Masshole drivers roam, I run into this everyday.

If it's on the highway and depending on my mood, I'll either change lanes so the dick can pass or change lanes, let him pass then change back and tailgate him like an even bigger dick.

If it's on regular roads I'll just slow way down and like some of you said, if he tries to pass on a non-passing road I'll speed up so he can't.

From my personal experience, 9/10 times the tailgater is some jerk-off in an oversized pick-up. I've had my moments where I get too mad and try and lure the tailgater to the side of the road and thankfully it's never been successful. I personally hate being like that and wanting to resort to violence but sometimes in the car your emotions get the bettr of you.
