I think im starting to.. or im having a quarter life crisis... Granted, i may not be that "old", but i still feel old relative to the people im around. A few reasons:

#1
While waiting outside of class for the first day of disscussion to start at my university, I am usually asked by every student if i am the TA.

#2
Frat kids hand everyone rush forms except me... they think im the "man"

#3
The oldest person in one of my classes is 17...

#4
No one has heard of the cartoons i watched as a kid.. they also dont understand when i quotes movies.

#5
All my friends are having kids and getting married

#6
They all have "real" jobs

#7
The biggest arguments i have involve me to "acting my age"

#8
If i work out too hard, i'm tired for a week

#9
I get injured... and stay that way

#10
while attending a funeral, i had my slapped down both by my girlfriend and another friend when the pastor was asking if there were any youths in the audience... Unknown to me but i guess im an "adult" whatever the hell that means.

Don't ever let age stand in the way of anything you do. You're only too old when you're dead.

Coming from someone that turns 30 this year, I still feel like a damn teenager. :D

Dude, your fucking old... I'm 35 and never would have posted a "how do you know when you are old" thread, so I am at least 10 years younger than you.

At 35, I play hockey twice a week, do martial arts 4 times a week and still find time for a 'real' job and working out and I get laid at least 5 times a week...

yeah I don't recover from the hockey hits like I did 10 years ago... but I am far from considering myself old.

I don't feel any different than when I 15. I am in my prime of my life and I am ten times better than I was at 20...

Do start questioning your age. Who cares... just do your shit and enjoy it.

And if the 'me' from 5, 10 or 15 years ago wanted to fight... I would beat him down like a little bitch

Experience and knowledge > age when it comes to a lot of things

In all honesty, itâ??????s not like its stopping me from doing anything. There is a reason why i have an argument over growing up... Why would i do such a thing? yet everyone realizes that they aren't part of the "young" cohort anymore, and those that are, view you as an adult or as "old"... if they only knew. However, itâ??????s simple aging. My test is tapering off, my growth plates have long fused, i can get drunk legally but I donâ??????t (shocker to me too), and I even read newspapers and books for, dare I say it, pleasure! lol
Although I did used to act like I had a ten year old body, a few dislocated shoulders, broken bones, and a lost ACL later, I realized that I have rely more on the mind to tap the pro or make the 120ft kicker, rather than blind hope and feeling i used to use. Plus, if anyone really has a problem with any me, itâ??????s not like they can kick my ass. But, iâ??????m not going to be arrogant, even though i wish i could kick my younger selfâ??????s ass, i know my 19 year old self would whoop my ass around the block... That bastard was stronger, with better cardio, and was tapping pros. Lol Iâ??????m proud of the young me; the young me is my role model, although its not like i canâ??????t still push near 400 on bench.

Agreed. Turn 32 this year.

Play hockey a few times a week, have two kids, full time job, swim three times a week, weight train. Plus any other extra activities that come up.

I tell everyone I am still 16 at heart.

Damn Crash....23 vs 19 ain't that big of a deal.
I could kick my 19 yr old self easy and I'm 44! Believe me, stay healthy and active and when you are my age you will still feel like 20's!

First time I felt old was when I was 18. I was at someone's house who had a Playboy out on the coffee table. I thumbed through it and realized the centerfold was younger than me.

You're only too old when you think it's too late to achieve your dreams....

I'm enjoying my old age so far...
I keep getting older, and my women get hotter!

I am sore and injured alot now though - :hmmm:

You have to grow old, you don't have to be old.

my mom said it was standing in line at a store and realizing she qualified for the "seniors" discount. i don't really feel old but it's kinda weird researching birth control and wondering if i won't need it in a few years.

I'm 22 and have begun to felt old lately mainly because time is flying by faster now than ever, and that kind of scares me. My weeks are starting to feel like they are only two days long, and there is never enough time to do all the things I want to do.

How is the oldest person in one of your classes only 17, when it sounds like you are going to a college?

I do agree with you that at 22, I often feel the pressures to "act my age," in that I have to be very selective with whom I act immature around. I can be a pretty immature and fun guy, but as you get older, people start seeing that as lame and creepy lol.

So I hit the local corner store on the way to work. They know me there. I drop a coin and pick it up I get up slowww. The owner goes, "Looks like old age is catching up with you." I just smiled. Sure my legs are sore... SORE from 700lbs squats for reps with my man Clay!! OK that part is made up but I was sore from squats and still am.

Albob realized it when he didn't have to sit in the dark at night lonely, scared and cold, he could now strike a rock against another in a bundle of dried grass and make magic.....

You can compare yourself to ALBOB to feel good.

If you want to feel better, compare yourself to ALBOB naked. Sometimes that is not a good idea.

Old?

I feel old right now! I am 42 and for the first time in my life I had to quit training becasue of a knee surgery and a pinched nerve in my back! WTF? It is good to see many of you still here. I have been away for a while!
DD

today when a 10 year old called me sir.

You will know your old when:

You have to chose between food or meds.
You have fallen and broken your hip.
You are sitting in bed all day and are too lazy to go file bankruptcy.
Have a wife but haven't slept in the same room in 10 years except falling asleep in a recliner while watching TV.

One of the comics in today's paper had the best gauge. How far have you driven with your blinker on and how slow were you going?

I realize I'm old pretty much on a daily basis now when I'm trying to consider what I'm going to do with my life as opposed to two years ago when I was deciding between which cheap beer I was going to drink that night.

I haven't realized it yet, but when I do, I'll let you know.

Child prodigies... and asians...

That second statement is exactly what i'm talking about :thumb:

you know you are old, when you fall down and people ask if you are alright, if you were young they just laugh at you.

im 42 right now, i thought that my 30's were the best years of my life, but so far the 40's are proving to be pretty dam good also.

it funny, cause at your age, people call you imature, at our age, people call us "still youthful". gotta love it.

either way, good luck with your battle.

when me pubes sprouted.

Hell a girl a month ago was chatting with me and blurted out, "wow you look just like my exbf's dad!!" Which still didn't prevent her from giving me her number and getting together for fun!

I'm 42 also. I am able to get bigger muscles than I ever could younger. I'm just as strong except my bench. I'm thankful for my journey thus far, it's been crazy awesome. I think I have changed the way I think, and my control over thoughts has improved thus making my actions better.
