I am starting my cutting diet for the first time now, and I basically need to know where I can get information on the nutritional contents (fat, protein, carbs etc.) of common household foods, such as perhaps potatoes, chicken, pees, common veggies, spinach and whatever else one may eat at home. Anybody know any reliable sites?

What about Kraft products? I have some of those spaghetti things they make, it seems they only have 3 g of fat, 1 g of protein and 40 g of carbs. Is that any good to eat for carbs?

I'm having a hard time finding something to get my carbs from. I'm not a big pasta eater.

In terms of spaghetti - ummm... If you are talking about that canned stuff in the fake tomtato sauce then :barf:!

Carbs other than pasta can be:
sweet potato
Whole or rolled grains (oats, barley, rye, brown or basmati rice, buckwheat, quinoa)
Legumes (chick-pea, kidney beans, black beans, lentils, chana-dhal)
Fruits (apples, pears, berries, citrus, bananas)
Skim dairy (skim milk or yoghurt)

If you are not cutting and are all that fussed on processed foods:
Sprouted, pumpernickel or essene bread
wholegrain products (cereals, pasta, wraps)

A lot of the info comes right off the national nutrient database. So if emma didn't give you enough links to satisfy your curiosity, you can google mine. Same info pretty much.
