Yep, high fat intake can actually allow you to burn more fat. This is sometimes referred to as ketogenic diet or simply: high fat, low carb approach to nutrition.


It is the most rapid way to strip down fat by priming your body to use fat for energy. Thus in a matter of days, you can become a fat burning machine.


However, it comes with a price tag: you have to drastically reduce your carbohydrate intake.

To summarise the essence:

You force your body to break down fat in order to produce ketones which then are used to fuel your body and if needed to be converted into essential glucose via gluconeogenesis.
