All too often I see the "personal trainers" at my local gym (X-Sport Fitness) leading the hot-of-the-couch trainee through all the supplements they should be buying.
Hey Pianomahnn, which X-Sport is it? I go to the one at Belmont/Ashland and I see it all the time. I worked with a great trainer there and made some big improvements but it just got too expensive. He did try to get me to buy stuff like Lipidex and the X-Sport brand protein/MRPs but he was cool enough to get me a big discount on them. I was already using the protein/MRPs so I figured he might as well get the commission.
The other thing that cracks me up is when I see the out-of-shape trainers training out-of-shape newbies. Why would I want to train with you if you can't even train yourself to get into shape???
