No, overtraining is not the answer. Like I heard one time, overtraining is more complex than that.
So, Why don´t you workout 7 days a week ? I´m just curious.

I train one or two muscle groups per day, that is why I don´t feel that I´m overtraining. Take for example the day when I do calf and forearms. It is pratically a day off.Originally posted by Prince
Many things can contribute to overtraining, and not taking any days off from training is one of them.

but it's not a day off, there are many complex processes in the body, i.e. cortisol levels, complete rest is very important.

Thats why if I have a really stressful day I don't even go into the gym, just not worth getting hurt over it.

...at least I look good walking around in rags asking for spare change.

I could easily train 7 days a week and currently am doing 5, starting 6 with another cardio day in there, but I don't. I use to overtrain and it sure did kick my ass and I limit myself now to ensure that I don't kill myself. I tend to fade away mentaly before I do physicly though, but once my mind goes everything else follows and I crash. Thats why if I have a really stressful day I don't even go into the gym, just not worth getting hurt over it.
