Windows Vista PWNS you

I don't understand. The issue was Vista, not XP. Why not stick with XP?
I love XP. I will use at least for another few years. I have free copies of vista and 7, and I had to wipe my drive after a month of either.
True, Vista was a problem networking and not XP but still..... I like win 7 so far.
There isn't anything to dislike really with Win 7, it's pretty smooth.
So far.

Computers are really quicker with w7, my PC runs as if its ass is on fire...that too with just 3 GB of ram & P4 HT processor @ 3Ghz....recently upgraded the mobo to G31 chipset GIGABYTE make....amazing improvement in performance....but I dont like the security issues I keep hearing about W7.

Some parts of windows 7 is really nice. Some parts aren't. I am really glad all of you are testing it first, that way in a year or two it will be stable and secure for me when I get it.

I spend 40 hours a week working exclusively on Redhat Linux and Xen Linux. I'll stick with xp in my personal time.

Win 7 networking is pretty sweet and easy.
I also like the remote desktop connection...I bugging out my kids with it.
I like the chess also..
The keyboard short cuts are pretty neat.

What's not to like.

You can use RDC with XP, thats how I connect to our server everyday for our Sales/Inventory System, and I use it to connect to my Manager's computer when I need to access his email archives or fix something he can't figure out like yesterday when he didn't know how to setup a Network Drive....but yeah taking control of someones mouse and keyboard is fun when they don't know about Remote Connections....
