Wire Transfer vs Western Union

First off I'd like to say i have used XXXX before and ik they are legit. They forgot to ship some nolva and clomid, but after a quick support email it was all fixed. I like them alot. I was just wondering guys, I was told when I started in this hobby to always do a western union transfer and make sure it was under $1000 so I couldn't be tracked. Is there any merit to this? I was hoping I could just wire XXXX a chunk of change and then I wouldn't have to deal with western union and their fees when ever I want more gear. Any thoughts guys?
