I got negged for like a month straight by xyz at one point..lol
..I was a 2year lurker here before joining, & when I started posting I got killed, negged into the 'red' because I wrote that using the word 'niggger' wasn't cool... it went on for months, he would neg me & say 'I didn't forget you charley'...I pissed him off by telling him that he would 'shit his pants' just standing in the shadow of the big black dudes at my gym.... lol
yeah- xyz turned around on me when I once commented to someone else that was crying about being negged by him that I was negged like twice daily for a month by him and never said a word
its kind of amusing to me that people will project various emotions to any of my posts where if they actually knew me they'd know I'm very matter of fact and fairly abrupt and not prone to being very whiney..... I took the constant neggings in the same spirit... "whelp, thats happening"
I agree with you, the morality police are quick to judge, its a huge risk women take even excepting carrying a baby to full term, lots of stress emotionally and physically, religion aside, I could tell you all stories I used to volunteer at a homeless shelter a lot of people have children and dump them on the street and thats never talked about, and you'll never see a pro life demonstrator console a crying homeless child. just saying..
she has worked at the company for 23 yrs. I don't know what her salary is compared to the last president who was demoted
there are no female project engineers or female tech supervisors
there are a cpl hundred employees at this location. I am unaware of the demographic at the other locations.
my husband says the place isn't pro-female.
my problem with the abortion debate is that its a healthcare debate if you take moral/and religious context out of it.
the..not my tax dollars argument is a false flag. federal money does not pay for abortion and hasn't for a long time. state money MAY in some states but that needs to be taken up on the state level obviously. The whole thing is more insidious than an abortion debate and most people don't realize that.
we paid 11k for childbirth for my youngest daughter- it was sticker shock because my previous insurance had paid for it in full with a 100 dollar hospital deductible- I'm not even sure what the argument is for not paying for women's reproductive care but will pay for men's
take the issue of abortion out of it and start putting healthcare legislation in the hands of other people and where does it stop?
eugenics? theology (no birth control because catholics say its bad)? denying say- any life saving measure because of the age of someone because they aren't adequate tax paying contributors? idk- its too slippery of a slope for me to budge on.
I just want pure science and healthcare ethics involved without "feelings" getting in the way of that judgement
