Question, I'vr brrn trying to get rid of some excess fast on the back of my waist line, lower back area. I'm trying to do exercises to build up my lower lats to kind of get that straight torso look rather than my uppers lats being bigger, small middle torso and then my waist being a bit bigger and the lovehandles, so kind of like an hourglass thing. I want to get the middle torso to be about the same so it doesnt look as odd and tie the lats into my waist. I did a workout with Seated rows, lat pull down, close grip chins, reg chins, lower back extensions with weiths and no burn today. Any ideas on what could work? Thanks alot!

First of all do not measure your work-outs by a burn, or a pump for that matter.

Secondly, do not use all of those exercises in one work-out, try focusing on two back exercises, three max per work-out.

Lastly, getting lean and reducing your waistline will do wonders as far as giving you a tapered, hour glass look.

And a question for you! How much time are you giving this? Are you expecting instant lats? It takes a lot of time and patience to build a tapered physique. :)

Well I did not mean the workout burn right during it, I meant the day after for the hypertrophy to set in, and yeah I will cut down on the amount of exercises. To be totally honest, I don't so much want to get the V shaped tapered physique, just more so of a straight torso line rather than the kind of chubby lovehandle look, hah, but I was hoping to atleast try to cut down the excess fat pockets by december or so.

you can't spot reduce fat bro, You need to start cutting weight through diet and cardio and then you will lose the fat, not by a lat exercise.
