So, how are your workouts coming along? For some of us trapped in cold weather this time of the year, workouts can sometimes slip due to winter hibernating. Just wondering how you're doing sticking to your plan.

I've been doing great the last three months...better than ever before, actually. I'm adding muscle and slowly shedding some fat.

I am wearing an old pair of dress pants today that have been too tight for the past couple of years. They fit perfectly right now. :) Now all the ladies in the office will be staring at my ass. :D

i worked in a factory out of high school,and the women there,well i tell ya,you would've thought that they were all under-sexed.the shame of it all...........yeah,right......:booty: :dance:harresment,nah,just good clean fun....... :D

My workouts are going well but I'm not sure where I want to go right now, shed a little fat for summer or do one more bulk cycle. I love the strength gains you get while bulking.
 
Terrible I tell ya :cry: just terrible.... :cry: :cry: .. I've a lazy PIG.... I've only worked out 5 times since Christmas... BUT will survive...... I....... will....... survive... I WILL get in top shape... shed some fat maintain the muscle.... get lean and mean by April.... :mad:

It will be done.. Oh yes it will... be.... DONE! :thumb:

Started a cutting phase after the first of the year and am starting to look pretty lean while mainting some muscle, I am confused though because I like being big but I can't stand the extra inches around the waist line while trying to add pounds of muscle.
I guess I'll have to live with a little less size because I really hate a spare tire. :D
 
everything is going great with one exception, my legs. I have been playing so much hockey that I miss a lot of leg days. I can't train them on the day of or the day after a game or practice. really sucks:(

Yeah, hockey is a good cardio workout, and your legs get good exercise, but it ain't the same as a hard legs workout at the gym. Sorry for that pain you're going to be feeling, dude!
 
I saw something on TV the other night that talked about men in there 30's that played hockey once a week. It said that only getting a workout once a week (I'm guessing hard cardio, like hockey) was BAD for the heart and actually did more damage than good.
I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that most of those one day a week games normally ends at the bar? :lol:
 
Training has been going absolutely excellent so far this year. I'm really impressed with my gains so far, and hope to continue with my forward progress. I have to thank this site a lot for the knowledge i obtain day in and day out which adds to my accomplishments in the gym. Great luck to all of the rest of you
 
My workouts have been going great. I have had plenty of time to get them in my schedule. I am on a cutting phase, although i had to scale back the cardio i was doing, i was always tired. But i am down to about 195 now,i would like to drop another 10.

that is so true, alot of the guys I play hockey with only play maybe once a week and it alwasy ends up at the bar.
 
My training has been going pretty good.Finally hit my goal of a single with 275 in the front squat.That finished off my olympic-lifting cycle.I'm focusing now on increasing my deadlift and bench by experimenting with some of the routines used by the guys over at Westside.I'm hoping to hit a 275 bench and 455 deadlift by mid-summer.
