i have this strange issue on the lower/front part of my calf, a few inches above my ankle on the right side

it's mild swelling that comes and goes, and it often causes a sort of sharp "snapping pain" when i bend over or do certain lifts (like leg press). It's like a strange pump, that isnt a muscle pump and can be pretty painful. Im not a runner at all so it cant be shin splints. I have no edema.. and no type of swelling anywhere else on my calf.

I noticed it started last time i used anadrol (not sure if that had anything to do with it though), kinda concerned that it may be high RBC/hematocrit and/or "blood clot-related".

my blood pressure is about ~110/65, and i have never donated blood (very irresponible i know..but im going in to donate next week (and every 2 months therafter), and also to get this thing checked out).

I know a few guys here are VERY intelligent, likely more so then the doctor ill be seeing (the last doctor said "don't worry about it"), so im just posting to see if im in dire straits and should head over to the ER...just read over on PM how a guy had a heart attack out of nowhere and it really fucked his shit up (as heart attacks tend to do))

no history of blood clots/heart attacks in my family

do you mean your tibia?

it's actually more around the fibula i think.. but basically right above my ankle on the outside..

im always getting hit by shit, but have never had any serious injuries/broken bones in that area.

i got the same thing, kinda..when i squat down..it feels like a cramp is coming on in my calf muscle..
..weird

Sometimes that's a sign of congestive heart failure, according to my ER Nurse wife sitting right here? I disagree. Go get it checked out by a real Dr

would i be experiencing any other symptoms if it was congestive heart failure? lol.. that sounds pretty serious?

that's what i was thinking as it comes and goes, and really only surfaces when i bent over/stretch..

Swelling of the ankle, uncontrollable hiccups, edema in certain extremities etc.. My wife is a ER nurse so she's a bit of a hypochondriac! I really don't think it's that rather maybe nerve damage or a deposit of some kind? Let me know when you find out?

I have this giant vein that bulges only sometimes in one of mine...those lower limbs run into everything...at least mine do and I just ignore it or don't know it even happens....I remember reading some craqp in flex years ago from dorian talking about microscopic tears gradually pulling the calf away from the bone with heavy training

I have had a couple massages that were too rough on my calves and I had sensitive calves for a week.

yeah a guy at PM said he has been experiening what sounded like the EXACT same thing, for years.. his doctor told him "don't worry about it"

im still getting it checked out

I have gotten those over the yrs...if its the same thing...its a knot or circle about a big as a quater on my lower outside legg between the calf and ankle...looks like part of a ball sitting there....

Its a hernia of the lining or fascias in that area...its a common area for them espc after running or heavy legg training...mine come and go...but might still want to have it looked at if it doesnt go away...btw...give blood anyway...

sciatic nerve (left leg) runs from roughly bottom of the spine all the way to your foot. This could be what you have irritated. I'd get it checked out by a Dr.

Edit: Nm you said its on the right side.

Could be mild edema. Sometimes high E2 can cause blood clots. I would see a doc.

that's what i wondered... the edema that is, but there is literally no swelling anywhere else.. and i know what edema looks like.

and the nurse that i called said that a blood clot wouldnt "come and go" as i am experiencing..

going to see a doc and report back

so i backloaded a slin pin with a half ml of tren ace and buried the whole 1/2 inch in there

seems like it only made things worse :/ ... well that's about as far as my medical knowledge goes, guess im headed to the ER now

And what part of that did you think "would have" made things any better? Just guessing but I have a feeling your elevator don't quite go to the top does it?

I have had what you describe for years. It bulges out when putting a lot of weight on that leg, but is visible just standing. Cant see it when sitting. Never hurts tho.

just got back from doctor's he called it

a "lipoma".. or a benign tumor made of adipose tissue

he also said "fatties gon' fat" and gave his nurse a high-5...made me feel like shit.. but it could be worse i guess

blood pressure 110/80 (got back on cycle early cuz i have no self control, 8 days on 350mg test A ED, 1200mg Tren E /week 50mg dbol/day 50mg drol/day)

going in for blood work early next week and getting an order for a therapuetic phlebotomy from my doc

We should make " live without fatty tissue" brackets and send the proceeds to a foundation that will assist you on your road to recovery.

It sounds like a tendon or ligament issue but there's really no telling without seeing a Dr and getting an mri (with contrast would show more).. if you really want to see what's up, go to the gym and irritate it tiling gives same symptoms you explained, right before the mri. That way if it is something like a tendon crossing over the bone or another ligament or tendon, they will see it in the mri... I've found that if you have an issue that only shows symptoms following certain things, it's best to cause the symptom so you aren't wasting an mri for them to see nothing.
