Usually after a savoury meal I like something a little sweeter to refresh my mouth and take the savoury taste away

At the moment I will usually follow my meals with a bowl of cereal or a cereal/crunchy bar, but I am looking for healthier alternatives to these... and I know I wouldn't mind yogurts instead

There are so many to choose from though... bio yogurts, fat free yogurts, fromage frais, soya, crunch/fruit corners... etc

Just wondered if I did want a yogurt now and again which 1 is best to keep the fat off?

thanks

my personal favorite is Danon Light N Fit non fat yogurt... I like vanilla, but they have lots of flavors...

honestly if you're being strict and trying to cut than yogurt isn't the way to go b/c of all the sugar. if it's a treat for every now and then like you said i'd suggest you just pick one that you like the best since none of them are ideal dieting foods. may as well enjoy the treat when you have it.

They make yogurt with nutrasweet I think:scratch:
How bout some sugar free jello instead?

Yeah they do. Columbo makes a light yogurt with aspartame. I haven't had one of those in a long time :lick: However they are not the best to crave your sweet tooth due to the source of carbs but if your not being really strict then it don't matter.

I would stick with the jello too! :thumb:

what about as an after workout snack? =)

it ain't all that important, i just wondered if they would be okay because the majority all have LOW-FAT and NATURAL all over them, and they seem to be made out as a good food for dieters, i suppose they mislead a lot of people, i know my mum and step-mum both like fat free yogurts

oh and i'm going back to putting the weight on now, i recorded 10% BF today which was my original target so i'm happy with my BF ATM, I just wanna put the muscle back on now!

peace

yogurt may have some sugar but non fat yogurt is for the most part lower on the glycemic scale than you might expect...
