Hi guys, my usual Ab workout is on Monday and Thursay (so there can be a 2 days and 3 days rest period respectively).

I was wondering though, will it be better if I switch it to (my Ab training) Monday, Wendesday and Friday instead? Making it a 3 times weekly Ab training, with 1 day rest in between. Is the resting enough?

I don't have a great body, but as long as I work hard like now, I'm gonna reach there.

I did that routine (working my abs 3 days a week), but if I felt to sore to be able to do the ab workout, after the rest day, to my full strength then I wouldn't do it. Let your body be your guide to how much you can do. Just remember if you are not stronger then you where before the last workout take another days rest. Just my opinion.

Everyday is a good day, when you are not six feet under.

3 days a week is probably fine, like Tex said, just listen to your body, it'll let you know if your doing to much.

If your trying to burn the fat around your abs though, better diet not more ab work is the answer.
I see guys all the time with a great 6pk that have never done any ab work before, they just have a low BF.

Just another day in the gutter

Nope, my goal is tighten and making the Abs firmer, so more Ab training should be good. I'm fairly strict in my diet too

Thanks man, so I'll stick with this 3 times per week routine, and only stop training if my Abs are tired. Wish me luck!
