Zma

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Nobody is going to see strength gains from ZMA directly(like creatine or pro hormones) unless they are deficient in the minerals that the formula contains, and therefore are low on free test.

As to the sleep thing...this is something that many many people report. Deeper sleep will mean more GH release and better overall recovery. In time that will lead to better gains. Does that make it worth the money...that is up to the individual.

yeah, but we need a controlled study to offer "scientific evidence" that it promotes deeper sleep. Just because a bunch of people report this is meaningless, it's probably just a placebo effect.

(yes, I am joking)

I have tried Biotest's ZMA, I am a Insomniac and had really high hopes for it to help me sleep. But It didn't do anything for me.

Melatonin never helped me either.

everyone reacts/responds differently to supplements, what works for me may not work for you and vice versa.

So very true.

Not Biotest, but smae story here.

The only thing I noticed was if I took it once every couple of weeks, I would wake up the next morning without the usual sluggish feelings.

I personally found that ZMA helped me sleep better for about 1 month, than the effect seemed to wear off. But I know others that swear by it. Hey, some people gain 50 lbs on their bench from creatine, some just get the runs!

Although I've heard many great things about ZMA, it did nothing for me.

Doesn't that tell you that you slept and rested better???

No, I don`t think it does DG....simply because I would not have any extra energy or stamina throughout the day at all........I would just wake up initially feeling more alert, even on just 4 or 4.5 hours of sleep.

ok..........what else could it be then??

placebo affect?

The thing is everyone is always saying ZMA or Glutamine are great and can work if you are deficient in them to begin with.
My question is how do you know you are deficient in them? Have you all had tests?
In the study that I posted here about ZMA is it possible that al of the NCAA football players taking the ZMA were deficient?
Any thoughts or comments?
