I'm working intensely + I'm new, so I rarely exceed 12 sets. Sometimes a lot less.
at 67, that's reasonable.![]()
Please do not flirt with members in the Training sectionJust kiddin Jimmy. I thought this was open chat....don't know how I clicked into training without knowing?
30-40 works best for me
Well sure, if you're deloading or just coming back after a layoff. Otherwise you need about double that.
I do 30 sets just for biceps....come on guys get with the program!
1-2 sets per if Im using high intensity.....
1-2 sets per workout? Is it even worth the effort of going to the gym?
1-2 per bodypart....that can equal 5-10 total sets depending on what Im doing.
I think its well worth the trouble... I am doing quite well as far as size/strength.

So you go to the gym and do 5 sets? Wow. Are you kidding?
howmany sets in one workout is ok ? i usually do 15sets a workout and was wondering if 20 sets would be killing it? workout 3x's aweek. push/legs/pull.
I'm also doing a push/pull/lower, and I do between 15-20. I don't think 20 is too much unless you do too many of one certain exercise. For example, doing 8 sets of curls on pull day would be a waste in my opinion.
