Look for this girl named Leslie from either St. Charles, IL or she'll say Chicago. I know this girl and she made it to the final 24 contestants, so root for her. She's kinda cute and she has reddish hair.

I usually watch the first couple of episodes because all the retards are funny. But this year I might actually have a reason to watch because of Leslie.:thumb:

That's how I always was, but now I know someone that made it up until the viewers start voting. Apparently she isn't on tonight, but I think they had auditions in Chicago. Look for her there, she's got an amazing voice.

Yep, Golden Globe for Best Performance By An Actor In a Television Series..... they were right too. I watch the show religiously and have all the seasons on DVD. Great show.

The 'hopefulls' in the audition stage are the only good thing about this.

The rest of the series is full of screaming banshees and emotional wrecks completly murdering music as we know it.

Man, that mother and daughter thing was scary! :shake: There were a lot of scary ones last night :shake: Not too many good ones.

They must be actors actresses because I don't see how anyone can be that stupid.

I guess if you guys find watching fake auditionees funny, then I suppose its funny nonetheless.
 
I don't think it's fake, I just think they mix some of the worst of the thousands who audition before they actually put them in front of Simon, Paula and Randy with some of the best.....people will do anything for their 15 minutes.

Don't you remember going to highschool with people like this...I do. Some of the kids were very disturbed and thats what these weirdo's on American Idol remind me of. I do agree that some of the people might be actors or just doing a shitty audition to get on national tv but seriously, there our people out there that are really that weird.

Thats exactly my point, exactly. Do you think those 3 watch ALL of these thousands? No way, they go through a previous panels of judges, before they get to the celebrity judges.

Its not like an audition for a movie or a play where its hundreds, this is thousands cuz the show is a hit. Who knows if a movie/play will be a hit, so its never and will never be that competitive.

Oh yeah, funny shit. I'm telling you though Rob, wait till you see this chick Leslie sing. She's fucking amazing, I wouldn't at all be surprised if she makes the top 5. She was home during Christmas time and I had a party at the house and she came over, we all had a good talk about American Idol. I think she just left last week to go back to Hollywood to get ready for the competition.
 
I was wrong, Leslie didn't audition in Chicago...it was in LA. So look for her there.
 
Has anyone ever gone to an audition? I have never as I can't sing, the only reason I would ever go is to torture the judges with my horrible ear shattering singing it has been known to make ears bleed. Does everyone who shows up get to audition for Paula, Simon and Randy? I'm thinking that there's no possible way that they can see every contestant. Are there pre screeners that let the good and bad singers through?
 
Man, there was some weirdos last night from NYC. I thought Mino was on there. There was one, you could not tell if it was male/female??
