4. Mercury Marauder 03
3. Chevy Camaro SS 02
2. Pontiac Trans am 02
1. Chevy Corvette 99

I'm leaning more towards the corvette, but I might need more room.

I'd be tempted to pickup the Vette, but what is the purpose exactly?

You can get an FRC (fixed roof) vette if you are serious about performance, it'll be stiffer similar to a Z06. These days though I prefer to go fast on a bike, and just use regular vehicles for A to B. I still have a 98 Z28 though.

The FRC doesnt come with HUD plus it doesnt look better than the coupe.

The only one I wouldnt get would be the vette. Z28s and T/As are known to be as fast as the vettes as they are under rated. The only thing the vette has going for it as far as performance goes is its exhaust and its lighter weight. GM could never advertise the power difference cuz then no one would buy the more expensive vette. Visit LS1.COM to see constant discussions comparing dyno sheets. Id strictly get it cuz of looks.

I like the Maruader. 302hp is it? However, the fucker is a pig. Another choice of if you need room, 4 doors, or the look. I like the look but I also like fun cars. It can be made to be fun, but compared to the other 3, I am not sure why the maruader is listed.

I am from the country side dude. I grew up with fresh air, lakes, trees, green pastures, and beautiful woodlands. I use to sleep with my window up listening to an orchestra of wildlife: frogs, crickets, and birds. The roads were safe, and most people drove trucks or utility vehicles because the dirt roads washed away often, and people needed 4-wheel drive to get around.

Since I moved to the city for college, I have missed those things. They have been replaced with smog, noise, assholes with 120Db stereo systems, motorcycles with the loud mother fucking exhaust, retards with glass pack exhaust on their F-150 piece of shit, and losers racing down airport blvd on crouch rockets that my apartment is sitting 30 feet from. Accidents are out of control here.

Most people who drive the overpriced POS domestic muscle-cars have low self esteem and desperately want attention. That is a generalization, so if you aren't one of these people ignore the post, but if you are: grow the fuck up!

The thread starter likes his choices. You like NONE of them. Cuz they are "POS," which is an opinion based answer.

As far as my car being a POS, since its a 99 Trans Am, the car has 107k miles on it, still runs 12s, and still gets some decent gas mileage. Another thing about my car's engine, the LS1, is that its a very clean engine as far as exhaust goes. I forget what my LT trims are, but I can get the number for ya to prove my claim.

I would have to say Kel, that your generalizations are assumptions built upon the great USA making shitty cars about a decade ago. Since then, USA has been closing the gap between their problematic equipment and sales. They are still in shitty shape because of their reputation. Shit, I remember DOMS and I talkign about this in another thread about how USA fucked us in the 80s and have since learned their lesson now that they are terriblely behind. Toyota is just about to surpass GM as the worlds car industry leader.

That country side you mentioned is AMERICA. America's cars are better than they once were. Its sad that we are playing catch up, but assuming that domestic cars are POSs is becoming a forgetful dream.

Back to the thread, all those choices have V8s, so I assume the thread starter wants some power. And guess what, those cars are faster, make more power, all while getting better gas mileage, maintaining reliability, and having quieter and cleaner exhaust than their predessesors. Gotta give credit where its due.
