Everyone one here is so "white" in their music taste....no variety.
Name one black group post-1970s that's made more than two quality albums.
Even from the 1970s and back, there isn't much to choose from. The only three that really come to mind are B. B. King, Bob Marley, and Jimi Hendrix.
Sevendust
I read up on them at Wiki. They do sound interesting, but the best they've done is place at #10.
Later on today I'll listen to some of their stuff over at Amazon.
1. Nirvana
2. Red Hot Chili Peppers
3. Queen
4. Anyone from the Rat Pack
5. (early) Beatles
Yeh, I wouldn't have guessed they got that high on the charts..... One my favorites though.
By the way, this thread was list favorite bands. I wouldn???t consider rap a band, until at least one of the members learn to play a fucking instrument. Pop artist are not in bands. I hate country music artist, but I consider some of them as bands, because they can play an instrument.
.
Skynyrd
Pink Floyd
Jethro Tull
The Who
Biggie Mutha Fuckin Smallz.

Nothin' like a mixed cd of Biggie and Pink Floyd...
especially when the cd skips...

Ok....I pretty much agree with everthing.
I meant "white" as in "we are white and like most other white guys in america ages ?-? we love a the hard metal."
I just personally think metal sucks...unless it's talent like Rage but I don't call that metal.
What about System of a Down, they brought a whole new sound to metal, look at how some of their songs have translated to the String Quartet they sound almost like something Ravel would do if limited to Cello'sI feel generally the same way about metal. I really don't like any metal bands besides Metallica. I like RATM alot too, I was considering putting them in my top five. Great bass, great drums, great guitar, great vocals!
