Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
So BigDyl, sir.. what do you suggest we do with these crazy leaders? Hand out lollipops for good behavior?

How many WMD's does Iran have, 2?
It should be easy enough to use diplomacy to go in and pick the WMD's up and take them out without a war.
That's two too many.
When has Iran ever shown reason?
I don't know. Maybe the would give them up? Our government would rather attack and control than do it that way though.
You're the right age ABCs. Sign up ... volunteer for the front lines. GO there. Wrap your self in military gear and go kill the enemy of Israel. If you are not willing to do that ... then you have no right to suggest that someone else do it.It's better that we let the genocidal president of Iran get nukes and use them on Isreal. Yup, I vote for that one.

The only way that Iran would give them up would be under thread from attack. I'm not worried though; if they have to, Israel will take care of it.
Nah, actually I do. Just because we want to stop a genocidal maniac from whipping out an entire race of people, doesn't make me cut out for the military. To even suggest that is absurd. BTW, if you didn't know Mr. Crusher, there is no frontline with concentrated aireal bombings. Good try though.
And again, I ask, what do we do about this problem? Dyl ducked the question, so maybe you can answer it. If the UN and the US told them to STOP nuclear programs, and they didn't even blink, WHAT DO WE DO?
....In 1951, a pro-democratic nationalist, Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh rose to prominence in Iran and was elected Prime Minister. As Prime Minister, Mossadegh alarmed the West by his nationalization of Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (later British Petroleum, BP) that had controlled the country's oil reserves. In response, Britain immediately embargoed Iran. Soon after, members of the British Intelligence Service invited the United States to join them in covertly overthrowing the democratically-elected Mossadegh. Initially, United States President Harry S. Truman refused, but after Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected the British proposed the plan again. After convincing Eisenhower that Mossadegh was sympathetic to communism (even though he was an avowed anti-communist), the United States agreed to assist Britain in Operation Ajax. President Eisenhower authorized the CIA to take the lead in the operation of overthrowing Mossadegh and supporting a US-friendly monarch.
Here's a brief backgound on the 1953 CIA overthrow of the pro-democracy anti-communist government:

Baaaaahhhhh ... wrong answer. There is very certainly a front line. The Iraqi military action is manned with front line troops going street by street. Iran would be the same war fought with the same kind of tactics ... there's nothing in play to suggest the Iranian military action will change in tactical approach. Expect more of the same ...
As far as what I would do with Iran ...:
I like the approach used to take down Milosevic. Fly in, bomb the facility with tradition munitions, and go home. Anyone who believes we don't have the kind of fire power needed to reach the depths of the underground enrichment plant is not up to speed with our weaponry. We can repeatedly bomb a hole a mile deep inside of 20 minutes and be home in time for lunch. No war, no ground assault, no "boots on the ground" mentality.
I gotta say here though that we do not need to even be involved in this ... Israel has more than what it takes to handle Iran. Israel has what we have and can launch an equally effective destructive end to this issue. That is what we pay them for ... that is what we have been sending them billions a year for ... and that is why the entire Islamic community hates us.
I say let Israel go deal with this.
Fight's on ... gtg.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The U.S. military Sunday presented evidence it says shows an elite Iranian force under the command of Iran's supreme leader is behind bombings that have killed at least 170 U.S. troops in Iraq.
I am an American citizen, and proud of it:
And, the American propaganda machine is in full-mode right now:
This is just the beginning.
Everyday, expect to hear the world "IRAN."
But why did it take 4 years?
Because.....now is the time for the U.S. to strike.

It does, doesn't it. The US propaganda is real. That sounds like something from a movie trailer narrated by the voice-over guy. ...
