If I've digested Cows stickies correctly...

Right now:

Tues - Shoulders

Thursday - Back/Bis

Sat - Chest/Tris

Sun - Legs

My shoulders grew but I don't think my bis and tris did. I think I look out of proportion where my shoulder look bigger.

I wanted to switch to:

Tues. I wanted to cut down on my shoulders a little and add Bis and Tris so I could concentrate on them better. So Tues would be Shoulders/Arms.

Thur - Back

Sat - Chest

Sun - Legs

I was thinking that my bi's might already be fatigued after Back and my Tris fatigued after chest.

Thoughts...

That isn't even a training program. It is just a split. You need to re-read that stickie!

Son of a bitch I can't get away from these stickies.

I didn't mean to say that was a cow routine, I tried to use some of the info he stated in the stickies and came up with my own.

Oh well....I tried.

So my routine isn't following this? Delts are shoulders right?

4 day split examples:
Lower - Upper - Lower - Upper

Chest - Back - Legs - Delts, Arms, Abs

Week A: Push - Pull - Legs - Push / Week B: Pull - Legs - Push - Pull / Week C: Legs - Push - Pull - Legs

As you can see, there is a wide variety of viable splits, and it should be no problem to find one that fits your schedule. As long as you follow the general guidelines I laid out, or something close to them that affords you full recovery, then you can cram muscle groups together virtually however you please. The split doesn't even have to be based around a calendar week if you don't want to do it that way.

Delts are shoulders.....Read the stickies again, with this new routine of yours you are gonna overtrain your arms. And try to think in terms of push and pull exercises rather than just body parts....hope this helps....:thumb:

Don't get down. It was hard for me to get away from body part training, too. My gains sky rocketed once I finally did. Think Push/Pull/Legs.
