How bad was your diet BEFORE you learned what "diet" meant?

I know mine was bad.

In 1995, I started to workout and wanted to gain weight. I weighed 143lbs. Heres some shit I ate...

Protein shakes with 3 cups of any kind of milk + 1/2 cup of hersheys syrup.
Triple Cheeseburgers with extra cheese from Wendys
A SHITLOAD of T-bone Steaks (all I ate when I was 15)
20 chicken mcnuggets once a week
Whole box of Macoroni & Cheese (Kraft's)
Whole pack of Turkey Breast slices (or Ham)
Meatball Subs with extra meatballs
A whole Medium Pan Pepporoni Pizza from Pizza Slut
Digorno Personal Pepperoni Pans
Tube of Cookie Dough (not at once)
Bacon Bacon Bacon
Bacon Double Cheeseburger from Burger King
Double Quarter Pounder with extra cheese from McDs..
Always got the largest fries and sometimes the largest shakes
A jar of JIM peanut butter
Chef Boyardee's "OverStuffed" Beef Raviolis
Cookie Cakes from Mrs. Fields
Chocolate Iced Donuts
Glazed Donuts if from Publix
Kryspy Cream Chocolate Donuts
McDs Hashbrowns (still my fav)
Handful Of spearmints a day
Any time Chocolate Cake was available, it was mine


Dont worry, I order (and still order) all my burgers plain. :p
 
When I was 16 my parents tried to drum it into my head that I didnt need to drink whey protein or eat 6 meals a day to add weight, I just needed to eat a decent breakfast (egg bacon sausage,cereal/toast), decent lunch(something hot with a hot pudding) and whatever my mum cooked at night and I would be fine.(even the owner of the gym said to have a ham sandwich after training and I'd be fine!!!!!) Now im buying my own food and looking to move into a flat near where I work.
 
Man, before I found this place, if I wanted to lose weight, I would eat 2 times a day, barely giving my body enough energy. And when I wasn't on a "diet" I would stuff my face with whatever I found or ordered. It truly feels great when you do things the right way.
 
My diet wasnt too bad when I started working out, I started eating really healthy when I started getting acne, as long as my diet was clean I pretty much cleared my acne up. However my post workout nutrition was BAD i used to workout then eat 3 scrambled eggs on brown toast and then half a pint of semi skimmed milk!

A lot of Smores Poptarts
Frozen Beef patties, sometimes frozen chicken patties too
Entire Digorno's and Fresceta Frozen Pizzas
Entire Large Papa John's Pepperoni Pizzas
Velvetta Shells and Cheese (an entire bag)
Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheese Burgers, Double Stacks, and Chicken Nuggets. Sometimes fries.
Dinty Moore Beef Stew
Chunky Potatoe, Cheese & Steak Soup.. also had Chicken Noodle a lot
Candy: skittles, reeses, kit kat, twix.. always had a supply on hand
Beer.. usually Bud Light
McDonald's McGriddles
Nutrigrain Bars
Spagetti or plain pasta sometimes
Ramen Noodles
Goldfishes
Cheese Balls in bulk from Sam's Club

When at my parent's house, I ate a lot of steak whenever it was on sale. Also ate a lot of my mom's Chinese cooking.
 
When I was in my 20's and in a band I used to live on grilled cheese sandwhiches, garlic bread and burgers etc. I also used to smoke, drink and chase girls. I gave it all up for a healthy lifestyle and since then lost 15lbs of fat and put 25lbs of muscle on. Shouldnt have given up the girls though... ;)

I was fat and ate like a fat person. Lots of fast food, supersized everything, no diet soda, half a pizza. Ate alot, lots of shit, never cared about calories, fat, etc. I would eat until I was so uncomfortably stuffed. Now I cannot tell you the last time I ate at McDonald's.

Me and my mates used to go to Pizza Hut at lunch time (like, every second day) for the all-you-can-eat buffet, and see who could eat the most. My best is 17 slices, i don't think i'll ever beat that now!!

Its true what they say, the more you eat, the more you want!

I've done this before. Would load up on lunch and pretty much skip dinner. Good deal at around $5/person. Was only eating 3 meals a day back then so that would be it for the day.
 
I would eat until I was so uncomfortably stuffed.
I would often do the same. I still do occassionally depending on what the food is. Papa John's pizza and garlic bread are my weakness.

My post workout today was 5 fried eggs, 3 slices of white toast, and 2 cups of 2%milk!

I got so sick of shakes and being hungry again within 1 hour of drinking one.

That makes me feel a lot better! I found it to be an advantage though if your on a bulk, you have your shake straight away and an hour later a meal, helped me get in the extra calories i need.

I usually eat about an hour after I take my post WO shake anyway. :shrug:
 
My weakness to this day is one of those huge publix subs. Boars head maple ham, swiss and honey mustard on white bread. Stick in microwave for a minute and you have the BEST hot sub ever. Followed by some publix homemade chocolate chip cookies with milk. I can pound back a whole package of those in 1 day.
 
I use to eat kreft mac and cheese with hot dogs every other day, also alot of hamburgers fried foods, deserts, etc. Beer has always been a big part as well.

I still eat publix subs, but I dont think I have those. I am pretty sure Publix has HUGE subs. I get the regular sized subs, but with wheat bread and not so much junk.

I did that too, but at KFC. I still get the all you can eat buffet, but I only eat maybe 2 breasts and a couple of other items. Its not as bad as eating all you can. Definetly not recommended on a cut.

I used to do intraventricle injections of transfats aka eat 20 peice Wendy's chk nuggets
 
I ate pretty bad, when I think back on it. My weakness was super-size McDonald fries (gotta love that salt & oil), and macaroni & cheese... and Cheetos... I could eat Cheetos every single day and not get sick of them.

Now I don't ever eat them - not even on a cheat day. If I'm going to have one meal, I'm not going to give it up for that.

Damn, how could I forget about hot dogs? I used to make Ball Park franks and frozen beef patty hamburgers on the George Foreman grill left and right.

and Cheetos... I could eat Cheetos every single day and not get sick of them.
I loved Cheetos too, but I was always more Dorritos fan. To this day, whenver I buy a big bag of chips (usually Dorritos or Sun Chips), I kill it within the first two sittings.

You just don't give up do you? Nah, no expert, but I definitely learned a shit load about health and exercise in the month I've been a member here. Maybe one day I'll be sticking painful needles into my legs like you, my idol. :thumb:

I would get high and then go to the grocery store. I would walk down the candy Isle and grab one of every candy bar. I could eat 20 candy bars in one sitting. I was also a fan of crispy cream donuts.
