Yeah, McCain is trying to appeal to the Evangelical Xtian base because they compose 30% of the GOP base typically, and sadly, he needs this base to vote for him, if he has any chance of get the nomination and/or Presidency.
McCain today also said what a terrible job Rumsfeld did in the Iraq strategy, even though he praised him when Rumsfeld resigned, recently.
All this while trying stay loyas to some degree to Bush.
I don't think McCain has much of a chance.

I don't agree. If 99/100 of one group of people do something, and 1/100 of another group does that, the argument still stands, because generalizations are how we categorize the world and how we see it. I am sure there are some good Mexicans who want to better themselves and want to become educated and put into their country what they have taken, but the majority only want to leach off of our success. Mexicans are trash becomes the generalization, and it is probably 95% true. 95% is good enough for me.
