I have noticed how cheap liver is at the grocery store and am excited to have found an extremely cheap protein source that I love. I have read though that it is extremely high in cholesterol. Is it nothing to be concerned about like eggs if I eat liver once every day or two days?

Dietary Cholesterol has little impact on cholesterol levels unless genetically predisposed.

Ewwww......liver :barf: You do know that the liver is the bodies filtering system that filters all the toxins and crap? I could never eat liver knowing that. :shake:

But hey, if you like it, then yeah Iain's right, unless you have pre-existing cholesterol issues.

Are you joking? Liver is great check these out. I hate the taste so I take these its full of bcaa's. Arnold would pound like 50 of these a day they are very old school and very cheap source of protein,

There is a BIG difference from dessicated liver supplements and fresh liver at a grocery store.

Bruno, love to see you chiming in here for a change.

I don't like the guy, but ID gave some excellent advice... :p

Yeah and he's talking about a grocery store liver...... How many grocery stores do you see selling organic grass fed beef livers? How about NONE!

I never said liver is bad for you. I never said that at all. I just think it's disgusting to eat liver where it is the bodies filtering system.

You forgot to say "eh" at the end. Your cover as a real Canadian might get blown so be careful.

Liver tastes terrible. I have heard great things about the benefits of liver pills but I have never actually tried them myself. Vince Gironda used to pimp them big time, might explain why Arnold used them.

Good source of iron. I like the taste but eat it only occasionally.
