I believe that treating domesticated animals this way is one step away from treating humans this way, so if he is capable of torturing and killing dogs I don't think it would be too difficult for him to do the same to a human.
Funny how he was innocent until backed into a corner with his buddies turning on him, now suddenly he is sorry, found Jesus, etc. However, not once in his public apology did he say a thing about the animals that were tortured and killed. It was all a crock of shit, he had no other options and his lawyers probably wrote that entire speech he gave.
I think he should get 1 year in prison, expelled from the NFL permanently, a nice sized fine that will be donated to the humane society (and this fine should be relative, meaning if the normal person would get a $1,000 fine Vick should get a $1 million dollar fine). Once out of prison he should be on 12 months of probation and required to serve around 300 hours of community service working at a local animal shelter. And of course be required to pay back whatever he owes to his team since he cannot fulfill his contract. Lastly, required to complete around 6 months of counseling specifically addressing his desire to torture and kill animals.
