probably for the same reason that everytime you start a new thread you re-post it twice......you are both morons.

And that is the polite response.... you fucking retard.

gonzaga uses it

don't worry, you wont get into gonzga. I am pretty sure that they don't need a 120lb wrestler and there is no way you are getting in on academics.

I do the squat, go to leg extensions, then to the hack squat, and finally leg curls...so I guess I mix it up a bit, but the squat is by far the best of all of them...in my opinion anyway.

For those of us who have suffered serious knee injuries (I have no cartilidge in my left knee) the leg press takes a bit of stress off of the knee that is experienced with the squat. And ditto what usamarshall said; variation in everything = growth.

Rich Franklin uses strictly machines as well, look what happened to him. He got taught Muay Thai clinch 101 by Anderson Silva, TWICE... In fighting it is about fighting, not about whether you use a leg press or squat.

The leg press is for pussies, danny. Leg pressing is easier.

Squat > leg press.

Back in 1984 I was drafted by the Denver Nuggets and had the opportunity to work out with some of the Bronco linemen as I was going through knee rehabilitation before veterans camp started. These linemen incorporated the leg press into their lower body workouts, and I can guarantee you, these maniacs were NOT pussies.

I formulated it so danny could understand it without interpreting it wrong. :p

I'm currently doing a program with unilateral leg presses in it. I'm not a fan of using leg presses for knee rehab though, especially since most people can't go below parallel when leg pressing. Machines don't teach your body to properly stabilize the knee, so they don't fix the underlying issue. They just increase strength and muscle mass.
