Who supports the middle class???

We can't penalize the rich for being rich, I mean... don't we all want to be rich.

They just have to be fair about things.

Where did u get your avatar min0 lee?

Who supports the middle class???

Certainly not any conservative.

The illusion that liberals support the poor is also false. They support the rich also, they are just a tad bit more socially liberal.

All candiates on both sides are elitists, and not populists, and serve corporate interests period.

John Edwards supported the middle class.

John Edwards supported the middle class.

Yeah I thought he was the best Democrat. He got over looked. People vote with out really knowing who they are voting for a lot of the time.

John Edwards was the worst of the 3. His class-warfare rhetoric is pathetic and divisive. He tries to tell sob stories about someone not getting healthcare, then makes a poor attempt at blaming it on some CEO who gets paid $10 million. Unfortunately, people like John Edwards are why healthcare is expensive in the US. Go ask any doctor about his malpractice insurance bill, then go ask John Edwards how much money he made suing doctors.

I thought these were rather interesting opinions from the Daily News, Letter to the editor.

Pretty tune, empty wordsLyndhurst, N.J.: Barack Obama is a great orator. He reminds me of the Pied Piper, using his great voice as the flute. Sweet music will lead the country to the same fate as the Pied Piper led the rodents

A heavy lift

Silver Spring, Md.: Re "Hillary's baggage is just too heavy for this voter to carry" (Richard Cohen, Feb. 5): Inexperience and lack of an agenda will prove to be the same for Barack Obama. With no leading Democratic contender even after Super Tuesday, the result could be a McCain-Huckabee White House.

Nelson Marans
Got any change?

Brooklyn: Barack Obama would probably succeed as a motivational speaker, but as President of the United States? Wait a minute. He is a lightweight politician who believes he is swimming in leadership waters; an empty suit followed by people who believe there is substance in the indefinable word "change."

Robert Anthony

Rush to judgment

Bronx: So Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter hate John McCain. That makes him so much more appealing to me.

Frank Cartolano

We're the deciders

Yonkers: Perhaps one bright note in George W. Bush's dismal administration is a reborn sense of the importance of our right and duty to vote. If the primary turnout is an indication, we have realized we can't let others choose for us. The past seven years reveal the liability in doing so.

George W. Heimberger

No, min0's avi is Tera Patrick.
Way wrong, Tera is Hapa/Haolie,doesn't have a tat on her pelvic region, has broader curves and hasn't done a milk shoot....booyakasha!

Im all for the flat tax. If you cant afford the $5 beer plus $2 tax then you dont get any. If you can then you are doing your part in paying your share. Even then the homeless wine-o drunks will be paying their share. If you can afford a $500,000 car, then get ready to pay yo tax!

John Edwards was the worst of the 3.

Agreed. John Edwards was the closest thing to a socialist that American politics has seen. Seriously people, what do you think it means to say "we should end poverty???" That is called REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH; you may remember it from the Soviet Union, Cuba, etc.

Taxing people 45% so that you can pay others to drop out of high school and have illegitimate children is no way to invest in this country's future.

I say we all refuse to pay taxes until the feds can prove to us they have a responsible budget for the next 20 years!!!!

oh no, I think I hear the black helicopters coming!!!!!
