Does anyone here besides me do one arm deadlifts/ suitcase style deadlifts?

I have tried them a few times. Not a fan of how they torque my back.

It works deep muscles in your back that are difficult to develop. It does a great job with the obliques as well.

I don't see one legged deadlift as a terribly functional movement, and the risk of injury is not insubstantial.
That being said: Almost EVERYBODY here knows more than I do about lifting.![]()
First of all, we aren't talking about 1 legged deadlifts
exactly its not the one leg dl. If youve seen pavel or are into his stuff you'll understand. I was really sore the next day after i tried the one arm dl, i had absolutely no problems with it at all. My abs were really hurting along with my back and legs.
I thought you guys were referring to these...
