which is actually most effective? I used to do them straight but was told bent leg actually works the lower abs better even though i seem to feel it more with straight legs ahh opinions?

thought so i was just told its working the hip flexors more rather than hitting the lower abs & that bent leg worked the abdominal muscles more..i think i'll stick to the feel then lol what do you guys usually stick to for it? or no preference :D

i dont think it really matters, but i have a slight bend in my legs when i do them.

feel has a lot to do with it...channel your focus onto the area you are trying to work...thats the best way to do it.

Choose another exercise that targets the abs. Don't worry about feeling it in the "lower abs" since its all one muscle, it'll grow as one.

it really doesnt...its the movement. One may put more tension on the area, but it generally works the same so it doesnt matter.

Actually, it really does.

Think about Psoas.
