I'm trying to get stronger with some Olympic lifts and I'm currently doing westside. My question is on what days should I incorporate the O lifts? Should I try 1 rep maxs with the O lifts, or only one the big 3 lifts?

depends on what your goals are with the olympic lifts. are you trying to be a better olympic lifter, or are you trying to be a better powerlifter and improve the big three?

Id like to improve the big three and improve form on O lifts. I'm wondering if some o lifts can help get stronger in the big 3.

put the o-lifts on your dynamic effort day....power cleans for several sets (6-10) for low reps (1-3) and medium intensity (70-85%).

just be careful you don't go too heavy on the Oly lifts. Almost everyone who I've worked with who wanted to do both Oly lifting and Pling at the same time ended up getting real burned out.

Lou wouldn't really recommend doing any oly lifting if your goal is to squat bench and deadlift more

I see. So p funk is saying to do them on DE day, should I do it on a lower or upper DE?
