Hello,

I am wanting to start a steroid cycle, and I am looking for a few things in particular. I am looking to cycle them for about 6 months or so, mainly because of both cost and future plans, so I am looking for a few specifics. I am looking for a cycle that will give me around 30-40 pounds of gains, and something that will help me cut as well. (Winstrol?) The main thing that I am looking for is the steriod that will help me maintain my gains after I am done with them. I appreciate your help and thank everyone for looking at this post.

John

30-40 pounds of gains?

There isn't a steroid in the world that will do that.

That part's food. Start eating. Lots.

Correction to my first post.

I am looking for about a years cycle, and I am also looking for a good overall cycle that is somewhat safe, and will at first help me bulk up a lot, and then cut and refine my body so that it looks good.

  1. How long have you been training?
  2. How old are you?
  3. How tall and how much do you weigh?
  4. Describe your current training, in detail
  5. How many calories do you currently require to maintain?

I am 23. I don't know if I am at the right age to start taking them but please disregard because I am going to take them anyway. I am 6' 3'', and I weigh 180. I have some bodyfat but it is mostly standard bodyfat, which I interpret as just enough so you can see my upper abs, but my lower abs still have a little fat around them. I am currently dieting so this won't be a problem later.
I weigh 180 lbs.
My training regimen consists of four days of two hours each in the gym.

Day 1
Chest and Quads with abs and cardio.

Do 4 excersizes for each group, including squats, Bench, and flys.

I switch up each week on excersizes like moving bench press to incline bench and stuff like that.

Day 2

Biceps and Shoulders with Abs and Cardio

Same amount of training as Day 1

Day 3

Back, Triceps and Hamstrings

Day 4

Heavy lifts, such as deadlifts and powercleans, as well as maxing out, and Abs with cardio

I have been training for about 1 and a half months, but I don't plan to start my cycle untill about a month.
I require about 2,200 calories to maintain, and I am working on eating more, but since I used to be a really fat kid gone skinny and lean, I have a primal fear of gaining fat.

What do you think?

What do you think?

That you are now where near ready to even think about steriods. I dont feel like writing too much because I think that youll ignore me anyway, but you seriously need to rethink this choice, with your future health in mind.

dont be another idiot who jumps into gear without knowing anything about it. you have only to gain by learning about these compounds you are so eager to put into your body.

6'3 180 you need food not drugs. also your lifting routine is pretty crappy.

I am 5'7" tall, female, and twice your age, and MY maintenance is 2200 calories.

If you can't gain weight without steroids, you are NOT going to gain ON steroids.

Your split has good components. 2 hours a day is too long though, and I'd split it up so you don't have a "bicep and shoulder" day.

Agree with everything that has been said.

I'm shorter and lighter than you and my maintenance is 3000 calories. EAT MORE. Steroids aren't magical, all they do (in a nutshell) is increase the rate you can gain muscle from an increased efficiency in utilizing energy and protein.

If you're eating 2500 calories now and are not gaining weight, how do you expect to gain weight on steroids where you will need MORE calories?

Just because these compounds can increase the rate of muscle gain, if you're not eating enough to to provide the raw components to build that muscle, it doesnt MATTER how fast you can build it!

If you're building a house that should have 5000 bricks in it, and you only have 2500 bricks on site, it doesnt matter if you have 10 tradesmen or 100 tradesmen - THE HOUSE AINT GETTING BUILT.

Work on your training program design, figure out how to manage your diet, and give training some time. One and a half months isn't shit. This sport/hobby/lifestyle whatever, takes dedication, knowledge, and perseverance whether you're natural or not. There is no magic pill that will do the work for you.

everyone else hit it on the spot.
you say your too young but exactly how old are you??
plz dont tell me you under 18

It really is just perfect.

Thanks guys, and woman, I respect all of your opinions and I am going to take your advice and not take the cycle for a while. Eating more food will help me out more, I think. One more thing though, would a cycle or two of Winstrol help me out a bit to help me look a little more ripped when I take my shirt off? Is it a decent idea to try a cycle or two of it while I am bulking so that I look good and gain strengh while I am bulking? Is there another lite steriod, besides primobolan (its expensive as hell) that would help me out a bit? I am just saying this because I don't want to waste my money on all that bulls$%t stuff out of GNC because I don't think a lot of it works at all, and are a scam.

Thanks

Honestly, start eating and don't overtrain and you're going to see profound gains.

The only supps I'd recommend would be a good protein powder, plain dextrose, plain creatine monohydate, a multi and 10g of fish oil daily.

That and enough food to gain, appropriate training and sufficient rest and you'll grow like crazy.

You've made the right choice, man, good on you :thumb:

I second that. :thumb:

Be a hungry student of essential deit and excercise principles. You are overtraining and sabotaging your gains. You need to build your caloric intake. I would aim to be at 4k calories one month from now.

If you know this little about AAS, you should not be taking them. No amount of PCT will allow you to keep all your post AAS gains, especially if you put on 40lbs in 6 months.

No matter what you use, I don't think you know enough about diet and YOUR body to make the kind of gains you seek. Steroids can't substitute knowledge, they can help you cheat a little here and there, but it just isn't enough if you are 23 years old (fully grown) 6'3" and only 180 pounds. It sounds like you are just starting out, because these are just starting out kinda numbers.

This really means you have to know what you are doing with lifting and diet first.

Honest opinion, not any kind of potshot. I was forced to realize that diet was even more important than I knew when I first started out, gains dont come from pills and shots, you gotta have fuel. Diet is the hardest thing in all of this, anyone can go to the gym for a few hours a week, but cooking and eating and having the discipline to eat atypical food in a western world requires the most work.

Imagine throwing 20 pounds of boost on a stock bottom end car and using 87 octane and 22 pound per hour injectors, that just wont cut it. Not high enough octane (unless you retard the timing, train like a wussy), and not enough fuel (not enough fuel volume from the injectors). Build up the base with the right materials, then reconsider your options.

Thanks guys!

I really appreciate all your help lately, and I have made the decision to not use steroids for a while. I am trying to stay natural untill I can get as big as I can. I just bought a weight gainer and am shooting for 3000 calories or more a day, with healthy food in mind. I am just going to stay well supplemented, work out hard, and do cardio and see how well I can change my physique. Maybe in 6 months or so I might consider steroids, but as of now I am seeing how well I can do using the essential stuff. I want to thank all of you for your imput, and I will try to check back in in a couple of months to see how things are going.

Thanks again,

John :thumb:

Good plan. I personally am not anti-AAS, but you won't get anything close to what you should get out of these drugs until you have your diet and your training figured out. There's no point putting an illegal, expensive and potentially dangerous substance into your body until you have enough information to squeeze all you can out of your cycle.

Let us know if there's anything we can do to help you get to where you need to be.
