There is NO excuse. Adoption is available. Contraception is available. Abstaining is available. One of my kindest and best teachers was a adopted. There's plenty of people who were adopted who are sure glad their parents weren't so disgusting as to place their own selfishness above the life of their child. It is NEVER the best thing to do.

This idiocy of it's "up to the person going to get an abortion" ignores the fact that there is a human life being extinguished by their action. It's no more valid than me stating this guy's decision to kill this abortionist was between him and his gun and ammunition dealer, it's not your right to interfere in the private matter.

Selfishness to not have a kid when they are doing it for this kid wont be born in to a bad life? No dad or mom? or maybe put up for adoption. There are too many variables to make this ILLEGAL, it should be kept a private matter between that person and their decision.

This is one of the reason's mom's are starting to just leave their kids behind it is to difficult to just put them up for adoption. Earlier i was wathing the news, someone left their baby in a box on the side of the road! What kind of sh*t is that? You think it would of been better if it was never even born? Before it took shape?

Why don't we just off all of the people with disabilities, born or unborn?

How about you decide exactly how valuable someone's life is and then determine whether or not they live. Why not just kill someone when they get crippled or lose a limb. We could also kill everyone with Alzheimers or who has had a stroke.

this is fucked up. i absolutely don't agree with late term abortion. i have major issues with the idea of late term abortion. terrible to kill a child like that. terrible on the womans psyche as well.

with all of that. killing this man was the act of a coward. this in no way helps the cause of those against abortion. as much as i hate abortion i think overturning roe vs wade is not the right thing for our country.

in a perfect world yes a woman's uterus would be designed to expel a severely deformed or retarded fetus especially if it's life was to consist of not much more than pain and storage. it happens sometimes by dumb luck but more often it's not the case and perfectly formed and developing babies are miscarried.

i don't believe in keeping a mindless shell alive when it has no possibility to be more nor do i believe inflicting a lifetime of pain on a person is the moral choice when you can decide not to.
nothing wrong with wishing it were a perfect world but it just isn't. a lot of the abortions by choice probably spare an unwanted child heinous abuse. it's easy to say there are people willing to adopt but there really aren't enough. why is the foster care system so jam packed full of unwanted kids if that's the case? abortion sucks donkey balls but sometimes the alternative is still worse.

stephen hawking has a great life LW and has inspired many, and has greatly improved scientific understanding of the universe. Maybe it has even been aided by his disabilities because all the focus in his brain is to thought rather than activities. i know just saying brilliant mind in a body some people would decide not to bring his life into this world for. who's to decide what makes a life worth living? there are so many variables and if you really believe in god you believe in miracles and that he could heal what appeared to be a doomed fetus...

that's why it's a matter of individual choice. one parent is up to challenges no other may willingly take on and some children defy all odds.

i hate abortion but if a dr said to me your child has no brain function or your child is certain to face a short life full of multiple surgeries and horrific pain... i'd likely opt for it. if i were a prisoner of war and it was routine for the babies to be taken from the mothers to be tortured and used in experiments would i drink something that would make me miscarry??? i do think some things are worse than death.

i have 2 kids and i love them with all my heart but what would i do if i knew one of them was certain to face a life of pain beyond what they or anyone could endure? to wrestle with that question is not madness it's human. i stand against abortion for the most part with some exceptions. i also am against suicide with some exceptions. that's life.
