I currently eat my oatmeal at 5 am then my big breakfast at 8am. My 8 am breakfast is using up too many of my calories I allot myself throughout the day.
So here it is. What should I drop/ substitute/ or add?
2 Servings of Banquet Turkey Sausage. Totaling 6 Links, 220 Calories, 14g Fat, 4g Saturated Fats, 18 Grams of Protein and 4 Grams of Carbs.
2 Large Whole Eggs Totaling 100 Grams, 142 Calories, 10 Grams of Fat, 4 grams Saturated Fats, 12 Grams Protein
1 Cup egg whites totaling 140 Calories, 2g carbs, and 23grams protein
2 piece of 100% wheat sandwich rounds totaling 100 calories, 21 grams carbs, 20g whole grains, 5 grams protein.

So as you can see since I try to stay under 2500 Calories a day and since im awake about 16 hours+ a day. This meal totaling 600 Calories, 24grams fat, 8gram saturated fats, 30g carbs(round about), 58grams protein kind of takes away from other meals. I mean I was thinking maybe drop the sausage and add more eggs? or what? the sausage just dont seem to be a good use of fats and calories..

On a different note, I'd ditch the egg whites and just eat the whole thing. The yolk has most of the "good stuff".

So how about 5 whole eggs and 1 whole wheat sandwich round? that's 450 calories? Cause I don't think the turkey sausage is "good" fats..

Ceazur,

You are right my friend, the sausage is NOt good fat or even a very good protein source.

Another recipe you may want to experiement with is this one...kind of a treat meal..

1 cup of dry oats
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
1 tsp of splenda
6-8 eggwhites
Cinnamon and Cocoa Powder.

Mix all together in a blender, then pour into hot pan and make 'healthy' pancakes.

Good fats protein and slow release carbs. Add in some blueberries or small serving of fruit of your choice, and its delicious.

I also have some Rye bread with Natural peanut butter as a side to this.

Try it out and let me know what you think.

Great recipe I am eating it now, I modified it by using 4 whole eggs instead and 1/2 cup of soy milk. Love it.

Arent they high in cholesterol and fats?

I eat 8-10 whole eggs a day for the last 5 months, just had blood work done for my insurance and my cholestrol levels are perfect. Poor eggs, they get such bad rap because of all the garbage people eat with them for breakfast. Eggs are great food.

Glad you liked it.

I post new recipes regularly on my YouTube channel if ever you wanted more :)
