Hey bros! I'm gonna be going out for the first time with this girl my buddy introduced me to. I've only talk to her on the phone and texted her so this will be the first time I've met her in person. She looks really good in the pics I've seen of her (I kno they can be deceiving lol) and my friend tells me she's an awesome girl. She's also around 3-4 years older than me and I'll be driving around 45 minutes to meet her bc she lives a little distance from me. I'm not sure if I should just bring her back to the town I live in after that or if I should just find something in the small town I'm meeting her at. Please lend me some good first date ideas based on this info!!!

Thanks for the suggestion bro! I'll def be myself and I'm not the kind to try to impress girls with stuff. We have talked on the phone several times and it's weird how easy it is to talk to her. I just want a good idea that puts us in a good atmosphere where it is easy to just relax and get to know eachother.

I dunno, the comedy club sounds like a good idea. And maybe I could take her to dinner before. lol won't have to worry about any of that bc the only comedy place around is closed I guess which sucks. So far tho I know that I will for sure take her to dinner. I'd hate to say go to a movie after that bc it's so predictable. IMO get her out of that one horse town because she has already done everything there is to do there twice. Take her to the big city for the evening. You'll get major style points for this.
Plus, you get a 45 minute car ride to break the ice, make small talk and even discuss what your tastes in music are.
Just don't drive like an asshat on the first date.

I found out what her favorite place to eat is and there is one where I live so I would have to drive the 45 min. There is also putt putt??? Also, if things go well, do you guys think it'd be a good idea to take her out to a club or bar in the city for a few drinks?

I ass-sume the club/bar is in your city? I still say take her to the big city for a night out away from every gotdamn gomer in town that knows her by first name. You know her favorite restaurant? That means you can figure out what she likes to eat and take her to that type of joint in your town.
I was thinking of doing that after dinner or whatever. I just want to be careful to not make her think I'm trying to get her drunk lol.

I wouldn't say i'm the smoothest guy out there but I got out of an 9 month relationship several months ago and this is kinda the first serious date I'm going on since then. Correct. Never put a show on you cant afford to support. It's a lie, and she'll find out. The first date is the feel out date. Do something fun. Boardwalk or carnivals are good icebreakers too. I still love taking my sweetheart to Italian street fairs. I win her some hokey shit and she adores me for trying.
