How did 2 drivers not see her in the road?

The stupidity of driver's in Asia is something I witness every single day.

For many, they are first generation car drivers. Many cannot parallel park.

Now as for the indifference, in some countries people don't get involved. In Thailand people do not stop at accident scenes to help or assist because they could be falsely accused of causing the accident, arrested, charged, and forced to pay large sums of money.

In China I assume this is a similar case.

It's not right, but it's common for many not help.

In the US, we live in a litigation-prone society.

Regardless, I would help someone if they were injured and call the authorities/911 immediately.

To me its different when an adult is doing something stupid and gets ran over, but a poor a innocent child doesn't deserve this. That's naive, how could they possibly report the number of cases of child abuse in China and other sealed nations? America has a lot of "mosts" because we are highly populated and information is public.

China would happily lie about ANY number, and if you don't believe that then frankly you are not familiar with their nations policies. Better yet, for a majority of the country it would be impossible to get those numbers, and those are the places where abuse is common place. Daughters are killed, abandoned and sold. I highly doubt we are even close to India and China's actual numbers.

Yes, child abuse is horrible... yes it happens in EVERY nation. But comparing one bad parent to a baby being hit and ran over repeatedly while 18 people pass her withering body is illogical.
