252 of the 461 Mail processing centers are going to be closed down by spring of 2012. Mail will is going to take double the time to arrive. Anyone concerned ?

Means they will be so overwhelmed that more packs can slip through easier =)
Oh, and now sponsors will blame the PO for slow service...

More unemployed. It was bound to happen with the birth of the internet.

i must agree with lightbearer , a good friend of mine who is also one of us has warned me in the past to always stay away from getting stuff sent ups or fed ex , he says its not AAS there looking for , its narcotics , he says that alot of coke and heroin are sent fed ex from across the country or state to state and thats why they are always checkin there shit

I just watched a news piece about this and they are doing a lot more than just closing postal centers. They are also trying to get permission from congress to eliminate Saturday deliveries and are laying off 28,000 postal workers. They are also raising the price of stamps in January. Last year they lost 25% of business and expect to lose another 50% in the coming year.

I'd say all in all, it would seem that the USPS is on their way out. If they weren't backed by our taxes and the government, they'd be out of business a long time ago. What company can lose 75% of their business and still operate successfully?

damn thats fucked up.. priority mail was the ish too!
