Dear brothers and sisters. Now is the time to open your eyes!

In a stunning move that has civil libertarians stuttering with disbelief, the U.S. Senate has just passed a bill that effectively ends the Bill of Rights in America.

The National Defense Authorization Act is being called the most traitorous act ever witnessed in the Senate, and the language of the bill is cleverly designed to make you think it doesn't apply to Americans, but toward the end of the bill, it essentially says it can apply to Americans "if we want it to.

Bill Summary & Status, 112th Congress (2011 -- 2012) | S.1867 | Latest Title: National Defense Authorization Act for.

This bill, passed late last night in a 93-7 vote, declares the entire USA to be a "battleground" upon which U.S. military forces can operate with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus and granting the military the unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate U.S. citizens with impunity.

Even WIRED magazine was outraged at this bill, reporting:

Senate Wants the Military to Lock You Up Without Trial

...the detention mandate to use indefinite military detention in terrorism cases isn't limited to foreigners. It's confusing, because two different sections of the bill seem to contradict each other, but in the judgment of the University of Texas' Robert Chesney ??? a nonpartisan authority on military detention ??? "U.S. citizens are included in the grant of detention authority."

The passage of this law is nothing less than an outright declaration of WAR against the American People by the military-connected power elite. If this is signed into law, it will shred the remaining tenants of the Bill of Rights and unleash upon America a total military dictatorship, complete with secret arrests, secret prisons, unlawful interrogations, indefinite detainment without ever being charged with a crime, the torture of Americans and even the "legitimate assassination" of U.S. citizens right here on American soil!

If you have not yet woken up to the reality of the police state we've been warning you about, I hope you realize we are fast running out of time. Once this becomes law, you have no rights whatsoever in America. ??? no due process, no First Amendment speech rights, no right to remain silent, nothing.

The US senate does not want us to speak. I suspect even now orders are being shouted into telephones and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there?
Cruelty and injustice...intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance, coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those who are more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable. But again, truth be told...if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War. Terror. Disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you and in your panic, you turned to the now President in command Barack Obama. He promised you order. He promised you peace. And all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent.

More than four hundred years ago, a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness. Justice, and freedom are more than words - they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you, then I would suggest that you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek...then I ask you to stand beside one another, one year from November 5th, 2011, outside the gates of every court house of every city DEMANDING our rights!!

Together we stand against the injustice of our own Government.

We are anonymous.

US SENATE...
Expect us!!

I am afraid of the government who has no respect for nonviolent protesters. Any government or individuals, who condemn nonviolent civil disobedient should be condemned.

Isn't Chuck Norris the only one who can divide by zero? Either that, or these drum-banging alarmists didn't get along so well in 4th grade math...

It is very sad that he had to wear mask to express his opinion on the video. This alone says a lot about this country.:(

Divided by zero is for the LuLz

guy fawke masks are worn for anonymity and reference to V for Vendetta. It is paying homage to the faceless many. This is a revolutionary propaganda tactic.

This is a revolutionary propaganda tactic.

Of course it is. The sad part is that A LOT of people will view this video and immediately think that its the whole truth, without doing their own research on the actual bill.

Divided by zero is for the LuLz

I looked up "lulz" and I don't think I quite understand what that means even after reading it (granted I am pretty thick sometimes)...

Often used to denote laughter at someone who is the victim of a prank, or a reason for performing an action. This variation is often used on the Encyclopedia dramatica wiki and 4chan image boards. According to a New York Times article about Internet trolling, "lulz means the joy of disrupting another's emotional equilibrium."[32] Can be used as a noun ??? e.g. "do it for the lulz.", shortened into "ftlulz" (to distinguish it from "ftl" - "for the loss").[33][34] See also LulzSec.

What does it mean in this context?

Still no need to wear a mask in the USA unless you are a hypocrite and want to hide your masked self from your public self. Masks=cowardice in my book.

This is all too eerily familiar to me. I'm afraid this country is on a path that can no longer be derailed. Our leaders have been indoctrinated and like the feeling of absolute power, yet, they know, absolute power corrupts absolutely. But they'll have it no other way.

And we can do nothing about it. I'm afraid we are going to have to relieve atrocities carried out by our own government, and its already started!

I'm assuming this policy of your applies equally to swat teams, seal teams, hangmen, and video blurred witness testimony?

Holy shit... who the fuck emasculated this crowd??!?

Come on people… This is NOT the end of your world. Sack up and take stock of what you’ve got and move forward with your lives. Sheesh.

What really amazes me is the inconsistency among the masses. I listen and read so many different points of views on this matter and it is COMICAL to see the hypocrisy.

I’ve seen so many on who march in complete lock-step in support of the OWS movement and the agenda to overthrow free enterprise and endorse the federal government to FORCE private business owners to surrender their assets. If they refuse, imprison them.

You wanted government MANDATED healthcare that penalizes those who refuse to participate.

Then these SAME PEOPLE go completely APE SHIT at the thought of the Federal government ratcheting down legislation to defend against TERRORISM?!?!?

You're getting precisely what you asked for. Your individual freedoms and liberties have slowly been eroding away right in front of your own eyes... often with your own blind support in the name of whatever silly agenda is the flavor of the month.

Some eloquent jackass puts on a mask and records a dramatic appeal to oppose this "government intrusion", yet that same cock sucker whole heartedly will support some twisted socialist agenda that undermines everything the constitution stands for. Yet... people will blindly follow this tool, so long as it appeases their emotional reactions.

Sure.... "V for Vendetta" has a certain appeal... if you want to end up looking like the rebels in Egypt and Libya.

Just sayin’

how would socialism undermine the constitution? Do you believe Democracy=capitalism?

Socialism, by definition, is a system that advocates the vesting of ownership and control of the production and distribution of capital, land, business, etc., in the community as a whole. In short, it prevents individual accomplishment and achievement through CAPITALISM by baselining everyone as an "equal". We're not all equal.

Democracy is not defined by capitalism, however, capitalism left unchecked, can corrupt a democracy. Democracy, in it's unrefined state, can be equated to "Mob Rules". Without a standard to base ourselves against (i.e. Bill of rights) we could vote whatever we wanted and it would become law (e.g. Blacks can't vote). That is why we have a REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC. People need to pull thier heads out of thier asses and start voting responsibly.

Socialism is the next step towards communism. Marx and Stalin taught us that lesson.

No, no, no...The threat of terrorism was just a ploy to get this ball rolling. Kinda like how Adolf burned the Reichstag building to invade Poland and get his agenda started. Remember he would always blame the left wing of their political structure of appeasement.

The blue print has been written, and is being followed accordingly...

Remember who his banker was, he indoctrinated his sons, which is why we are where we are today.

Everyone except Snake-Eyes 'cause we all know he's wearin' it to keep people from throwin' up:

I'll give Zorro and the Lone Ranger a pass too.

SWAT and SEALs I guess I can understand but I see those Laredo border cops on that reality show kickin' organized crime ass and they're not wearin' masks, same for Marines. If anyone needs masks it's LE in border towns. I think when just men resort to wearing masks, they concede a small victory to evil men; but I can understand it sometimes when people have families and worry about cowardly retaliation.

p.s. oh yeah ninjas can get away with masks too but Samurai consider them cowards as well but they deliver a mean burger:

You WILL experience the Ninja Burger® difference!

Guaranteed delivery in 30 minutes or less, or we commit Seppuku!

now that i get home I can actually see it...I love the unnecessary horizontal lines for heightened emotional effect...like he had to record it on some old fashioned recorder because the message he is in so much danger speaking his mind. Information+theatrics= propaganda (manipulation).

No worse than any of the 24 hr news networks though.

I need to listen to some NPR or BBC to clean my ears out now.

Doesn't make this guy a coward in my book. Even in the USA you need to wear a mask sometimes. There are too many that are happy with the establishment and its abuses and they don't realize what's wrong. Sometimes even after it's too late.

Arresting people without a warrent, without evidence, without due process goes against everything this country is supposed to stand for.

Like it or not we are beginning to live in interesting times.

Socialism does nothing to prevent or stifle individual accomplishment. We are all equal.

Marx was a writer and Stalin was a murderer who murdered millions and said "There's your fucking socialism."

Maybe people are equal in their inalienable rights or in some 'eyes of god' sense but people are definitely not equal in their ability and contributions. The engineer who designed the motor is much more valuable than the worker who sticks a bolt in it and should be paid accordingly.

that is the SOP for fascists also (corporatism = fascism)

"Sec. 323. Designation of military industrial facilities as Centers of Industrial
and Technical Excellence."....lol seriously?

Here is the link to the document it's a long one my eyes are ready to fall out after reading 90 pages of this crap...

http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-112s1867es/pdf/BILLS-112s1867es.pdf

US troops exiting the middle east means the MIC has to come up with more reasons to increase funding, etc.

there is text in there for added special pay for certain health-care professionals

there is text in there for calling upon inactive-reserve forces for national disasters, etc.

* lots of "good stuff"....

after 25 years of eating healthy and training hard to remain healthy I'm thinking about starting to smoke and take up heroin in my free time to cut a couple of decades off the life span...

and the bank CEO's and hedge fund managers that truly have no real special skills except believing in his/her own bs which is nothing more than buying into cognitive illusion to make a "best guess" in the markets is worth 350million-1B a year in compensation? are the ones that caused the global recession that "valuable"

The purpose of socialism is not to create equality in wealth so much as equality in power. distribution of property and worker control of production helps to mitigate the whimsical impulses of those with financial advantage. "Money to create power, power to protect money." There are no perfect solutions, both politically and financially. We all just have to collectively work against fascism and tyranny. The eternal struggle

The next step after socialism could very well be democracy, just look at Norway.

You and I will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

capitalism is merely an economic system it has nothing at all do do with democracy which is a form/type of government.

capitalism didn't corrupt democracy lobbying did combined with the injection of private monies into US politics. pre-1970 the US had a pretty well rounded economy that was really only managed by the fed gov during recession recovery. today the federal gov really only serves the markets and the US economy is very heavily managed during all years. Marx talked about what would happen in the US when the fed gov became involved in the markets, that is the world we live in today. there is almost a direct correlation between the amount of monies spent on lobbying to that industry or markets rank in terms of profits for the leading large firms in the US. factor in the election cycle and money involved in that process and the representative form of government in the US only further continues to serve itself, lobbyists and special interest groups in accordance with their level of spending.

at this point in time the US would do better with direct democracy vs the severely broken representative form that we have now. 50% of ex-politicians go work as lobbyists when they leave government or go work for large firms.

in regards to socialism and capitalism when there is no longer competition capitalism ceases and all that remains is the monopoly, for ever. and many US markets are controlled by only several large firms so instead of monopoly's we have duopoly's and extreme protectionism at the top and "free markets" at the bottom at the state level and below.
