Werd. This is true! On the transfer form, the small print says they have to report anything over 1K. It's a post 9.11 security change. I've read on another site that if the recipient allows it, just break it up into multiple transactions to avoid the red flags.

always try to stay under 1,000 dollars,anything over that and ur ID is required,and it is reported...and yes to the OP,the fees for WU are fucking ridiculous..unless you get lucky enough to send to china,then its cheap...

i dont know in the US, but limit heres about 2500usd and it would only cost a small amount more for that amount
i sent 250$ abroad here it costs 18$, i sent 2500$ and it costs 24$
