Good shit. I bet you'd have more if you didn't do such heavy warm ups. No need to lift 525x2 when maxing out at 545.

Beastly lift, keep up the hard work. Take things slow and progressively so you don't hurt yourself, you have a great road of PRs ahead if you stay healthy.

That was inspirational, I started back dead'n yesterday after 2 years of rehab for multiple herniations, i'm pullin 155 LOL

Average natty lift for a 205lb guy.

Nice job. Very strong back and legs. Your form was good too. Most of the time when I see check out my deadlfit videos, the only reason I watch is to see someone herniate a disc, but your lifts are spot on.

thanks man! funny thing was i wasnt thinking to do a PR, was just thinking to do my regular back workout, so maybe it makes me think maybe i can deadlift more? (:

I'm 240, was up to 270 and never went above 5. Of course I have some good explanations... (thin line between explanations and excuses)

no bro its never excuses (: its if you want to do it or not (: most likely you can pull over 5 (: you have an amazing built!

Very impressive.
All my lifts are pretty powerful except deadlift. Good to see you killing it man, keep up the good work. Don't mind the haters lol...half of em ain't got the nerve to post a video

I love deadlifts. Try a dropset at the end, that will kick your ass.

thanks bro! dude your a beast!! inspiration to me and as well as others I'm sure (: thank you so much though man, oh no haters have their opinions i won't knock them down, but i won't get knocked down by them when theres also people liking the lift (: thank you so much man! i feel like i need to tweak the form a bit on deadlift, as well as my other lifts, such as bench!

quit trolling your old ass would be in a wheelchair if you even tried to pull that

haha thats ok juiceball44 if he wants to say whats on his mind he may say it (: it doesn't offend me, especially since i have lots of people appreciating the lift (:

i love them too! i used to actually do dropsets with deadlifts, when i couldn't do 495, i would go as high as 405, then drop the plates id rep out 405 for 4-6, go 315 for failure, 225 to failure with maybe a negative control or a pause at the top, it would kick my whole body! (:

Good job. I haven't gone above 395 for my deadlift, so you're raping my tad-bit-older ass.

I normally save it for my last set. this is after 5x5 with 455.

thank you man (: nah man any weights good as long as we are comfortable with it and not pushing it to the point to hurting yourself it don't matter what weight we do (: as long as we enjoy doing it (:

i do the same, ill build up and then my last set i do the drop set, ill actually do this with other exercises too, like flys, or bench press, squats, curls, etc. its a good away to just finish off the muscle! feels great (: but lately I've been trying to just stick with high weight, low reps, as you see in my vids. i feel like that has helped me gotten a lot stronger as well as build a little more mass on my skinny self (:

a little advice, take the slack out of the bar before you lift. if you're not sure what i mean, i think Dave Tate had a vid showing his approach to the bar. you're doing great for a 19yro, but your approach and technique is off. technique is key to the lift, i'm not ripping at all so don't take it the wrong way. read up on Andy Bolton, a lot can be learned from the master. here's a good vid for you Elitefts.com - Teaching the Deadlift - YouTube

He talks about moving the shoulder back while Rippetoe talks about the front delts being slightly in front of the bar in the starting position.....Semi-confused

^ Ignore Rippetoe. Rippetoe teaches children not men. Guys from Westside, Elitefts, Milo and Andy Bolton are or have been record holders. Andy Bolton is god in the DL world, read some of his articles. If your shoulders are over the bar, you're too far fwd.
